Thank you so much for showing this area.. very beautiful and peaceful... I wish you would shine a little bit more of the Walk about that area at 6:50. I'll bet you it can be pretty scary around those parts at night if you're walking around alone after dark .
Nice walk there Tom. We do have some picturesque little villages round here. I only live down the road at Ely. I've got the same pathfinder book but for "Cambridgeshire and the fens" very informative and easy to follow. Look forward to future updates 👍
thanks for watching pal, i did the fen rivers way a couple years back, plan on more cambridgeshire walks and camps. maybe in the future meet up for a wild camp if you like pal?
Hey, I saw a guy and his son canoeing that creek and doing some fishing in another neer by. Imagine the people that have walked along side it and the happenings that have occurred there! Did you grow up there, if so, did any of you guys fish the area? any luck
what you saw that exact place?! there was quite a bit of history there and settlements usually form close to water courses for obvious reasons like trade routes, water supply etc. no i didn't grow up there, always been an Essex lad lol. I'll be honest I have never fished! When I was younger I was in a band with some mates and they loved fishing, so I would join them on night fishing at local lakes but I was there more for the social side of it and the drinking and smoking of certain herbs lol. Maybe I'll take it up in later life, those backpacker Pen fishing rods look awesome! Thanks for watching mate, atb Tom.
