Exactly what I was thinking. I just paid off my Nissan Pro4X. I'm getting one of these type of campers or a cargo trailers and fit it out the way I want to.
I agree. I like it cause I would have bean bag furniture and a couple zero gravity chairs. I better kitchen sink. A 3 burner stove with oven. Actually I would shit can the stove part and have an electric magnetic stove top.
I want to design (thinking) a mobile grooming trailer on a base like this... I'm in Fresno CA. I'm looking at my options for near future plans. I'm really liking these small off grid self sufficient toy hauler types because the big loading garage door. Easy ramp loading.
I can understand your concern but in all honesty the direction for that cable can go in the other direction etc. Here's the temperature rating for the cable connection and where the cable connects, RV and Site connect. 75 deg C which is 167 nominal. Add the insulation and jacket around the cable am sure the 200 f deg direct heat would be easy. Melting point from furnace exhaust heat near cable could easily handle 250 degree. Just as long as you keep cord from passing directly over exhaust. After 12 plus years building they would have encountered an issue. All neman connection ar rate at 75 degrees c. Which is 167 degrees f. Also remember nominal temperature is the outside temp. So winter that gives you more flexibility on temp issues.
The perfect Motocross weekend set-up!

Design flaw with furnace vent blowing right on the cord. Thats bad news waiting to happen. Besides that cool rig
