    You are a genius!!! this has worked wonderfully and will now enable our UK Gt86's to comply with the legislation. previously did Modbargains way which was an epic fail.
    thanks for you tutorials they give me and my brother to do our own installs on our GT86's

    FINALLY! the answer to my question and a very detailed and easy to follow video. thank you mate!
    one final question... after this is wired up, the loose red wire has to be tapped into the brake light harness right (guessing red to red?)

    Followed this guide? As per the question below, the red loose wire get wired/tapped into which wire to achieve the running lights effect? Surely not the car's brake light?

    Hey thanks for the guide! I found it very useful. Quick question: How did you set up the wiring to test between the portable power tool battery and the Valenti wires. Positive Battery termical -> black(ground) wire && Negative battery terminal -> green/blue/red wires? Thanks in advance!

    Hi, do yo know how to have the centre triangle to act as a brake light without the flashing?

    • @LED86AU
      @LED86AU 7 лет назад +1

      If you leave it as it is "out of the box" valenti rear fogs will have the brake flash feature but the V light will be linked to the centre triangle. So this guide seperates them but you lose the brake flash function. Its either one way or the other, not both.

    I know you said to david bailey there other videos on how to show what to connect when finished but I literally couldn’t find anything, Australian especially. Can you help me out?
    P.s I’m also running valenti tail lights

      Don’t know which wire is for park as I’ve got a black blue red and yellow on my valenti

    how exactly do you connect it at the other end in the car to make sure that it has that effect so that when you activate the rear fog it actually comes on like that??
    BTW really good vid and useful for the UK market!!

      david bailey well the connector should just be plug n play and then the red wire that we have created is for the park light illumination so we just connect to the park light of the tail light. There's other videos around that show this.

      @@LED86AU there seem to be conflicting videos about removing a blue wire from a plug, which doesnt sound like what needs to happen for this one, could you tell us which wire in the tail light cluster we need to tap that red wire into please?

    • @WillClarke91

      Edit: figured out. It's the blue wire (if using valenti tail lights), to splice into with the long red wire from the fog light harness

    Great vid man just a quick question about soldering as I’ve got no idea.... Is it a must to solder the wires together? Or am I able to just twist them together and heat shrink it or electrical tape it?
    Cheers and thank you!!

    • @LED86AU
      @LED86AU 6 лет назад

      Very late reply im sorry. Solder is the best but you can get away with just using shrink wrap. I dont like to use tape as it tends to loose stickyness in the heat and fall away.
      So an easy method I recommend is fan out the wires on both ends, then mesh the two ends together and then twist together. This gives a much better connection compared to just twisting the wires together.
