I have loved Andrew's music since I was fourteen and was given a burned copy of Konstantine by an older friend. Ten years later, I'm still in awe of the man and the beauty of what he makes. This is the most intimate and powerful song I know. Thank you, Andrew McMahon.
One of the best songs ever? Absolutely! I listened to this last night while I was about to sleep, and I literally almost cried because I felt the passion to such an extent.

I saw him in concert in Orlando a few months back. Best concert I've ever seen. At one point he was so into the song he was playing the piano with his fist (effing wailing on it). He then proceeded to jump up on the piano and finish the song. This is my favorite song.
This is such as inspirations and emotionfelt song. It sends chills down my spine to learn about what Andrew had to go through. What a strong man to be singing about this. He's amazing.
Dear Jesus. The way he sings the word 'rebirth', the way that last note catches at the end of the second syllable. Pretty sure that's what raw, unfettered emotion sounds like. Can I like, bottle it and keep it to listen to whenever I want, or something, because it's fucking beautiful.
Baela he played it in columbus on his transit anniversary tour, i bawled my eyes out such a strong song, and he got so drunk after the show that night, ive never seen him drink so much, it messes with him to even play it
I know this isn't one of his most popular songs, but I seriously would call this song one of my favorites. It is easily the most powerful, most emotional song, hands down. I really hope I get to see him perform this live someday.
