    Engine note from that 3 cylinder engine....?

    • @tyronepaulsen
      @tyronepaulsen  Год назад

      Firstly it’s a 4-cylinder, so apologies for that, but it sounds like a 3-cylinder especially when you’re getting into the higher revs. It’s no V6 or V8, but it’s a sound I like. Maybe it’s because I’m anticipating the arrival of that EV sound of nothingness.

    Baleno or Fronx which one would you recommend ?

    • @tyronepaulsen
      @tyronepaulsen  Год назад +8

      Hi, they share the same platform and some interior stylings, including engine and gear box setup, the choice depends on if you want something a little more sporty looking, then it’s the Fronx. If price is the deciding factor then The Baleno wins as it’s atleast 40k cheaper. Hope that answers your questions?

    thinking of getting one , but have only seen the white and the red one. which colour would you recommend for a young lady?

    • @tyronepaulsen
      @tyronepaulsen  Год назад +5

      I like the two toned color ones, meaning a black roof with your preferred body color. The grey pearl metalic is nice, the orange is bold and makes a statement of look at me. The red gives it a more sportier look & black & dark blue gives that premium feel. White is safe but with the black roof in my opinion looks good on everyone. I hope that helps

    is the sound dampening better than the baleno? that bubbly sound of the engine is annoying in the baleno. is the stereo also much better?

    • @tyronepaulsen
      @tyronepaulsen  Год назад

      Hi, to be honest I didn't find the sound dampening bad in the Baleno, I actually liked the noise the 3-cylinder engine made in both of them. Road noise is to a minimal & the stereo was decent enough, if you're an audiophile then you might not like it, but its up to personal choice.

    • @jevonbotha5669

      @tyronepaulsen but it's a 1.5l 4 cylinder engine. My biggest issue is the lack of a sixth gear, I think that would really have helped the fuel economy. It would really be nice if 6 airbags were standard in the GL model as well. I do about 4000km long distance driving a month, so I'd be very happy to see what the Baleno gets in the real world at 120kmph, if it's around 4.4l to 100km, then I'm sold. Even the opel corsa which has a claimed 5.9l to 100km, gets 4.4l to 100km on the open road. And to its benefit, a nicer sounding engine, better stereo. Ideally I wouldn't want to change the stereo, or anything about the car for that matter as I want to keep it stock. But I just can't help but feel the stock baleno and now fronx will suffer the same issue. Noisy ride at 120kmph, subpar stereo, bad fuel economy compared to something which is supposed to be worse.
      Wish they'd let me test drive the baleno for this reason, to test open road fuel economy.

      @@jevonbotha5669my apologies, yes it is 4 & not 3-cylinder. Wrt the consumption, not so sure if you’ll get those figures, maybe from the boosterjet 1.0-liter turbo charged. Unfortunately it’s not available in SA. Chat to someone at a dealership and who knows, maybe they let you test it. Here’s hoping you get the car you want.
