i swear i found Blagoveshchensk cemetery in r4 and pinned it down in far east city of Blagoveshchensk and earned 2 points!!! R5 was kinda no chance to find, those villages were too small.

11:11 If you knew that "Город" means city, you would get the 4th round, where it says "Город Сергиев Посад" with some kind of pebbles (which is quite often in Russia).
Well, it says "Город преподобного Сергия" ("City of St. Sergius") and it’s quite difficult to guess the real name of the city even for a Russian)

Great try, especially for not being able to read Cyrillic! Obviously finding the right things to transliterate is tricky, as your efforts to read "driving school" in Round 3 prove! :) A useful tip is that there aren't many areas in Russia that have small rural roads covered in Street View like in the final round, and when that's combined with flat steppes and that "depths of Russia" feel, it's usually around Chelyabinsk.
Thanks for the tip! I swear one of these days I'll teach myself the Cyrillic alphabet. Eventually quarantine boredom will catch up to me and I'll do it lol

It’s so funny, especially if you live in Russia 😃
While scrolling through some village part of a town after getting 2 tiny towns out of 3 questions "We are getting some urban locations here today".
Also that indeed was a bus, not a van.
And those words on busses were "Мострансавто" - "MosTransAuto", they operate buses in areas around Moscow.
I don't have a way to remember that Ш is Sh, but think of Л as lambda. It's often handwritten like Λ, and there's a chance you'll see it stylized that way on a sign.

you would've gotten 4th round, you've seen "the city of St. Sergi" made out of flowers, and the first city which correlates with St.Sergi is Sergiev-Posad

13:28 - The landscape is extremely flat, birches and fields. It looks like western siberian plain. Bad roads and poor even by russian standards - it looks like Zauralie(Kurgan Oblast). and at 14:56 you can see Шатрово. It is small town in the north-west part of Kurgan Region.

It says "Р. Люксембург" Rosa Luxembourg is a polish Marxist. In every city we have square of Lenin, street Karl Marx, Engels Street or prospect and etc, even cities is named after communists, like Kaliningrad or Ulyanovsk.
You can learn the cyrillic alphabet, it is not hard at all
