To answer your question about if "having two trailers" was normal... It's... uncommon? The first one, Behind the Curtain is classified as a Myriad Celestia Trailer, those trailers are completely drawn animation and are often lore-heavy in some capacity, they rarely happen and they serve more to expand the lore of the universe or the character that the trailer is focusing on. The second one, Monodrama is a character trailer, they're the more common type of trailers, they serve as introductions to the limited 5 star characters (and some standard characters during beta) and giving a glimpse of their Skill and Ult animations.

I personally think this because the quality and creativity of the recent character trailers are so much better. The earliest ones stuck pretty closely to just showing the characters in environments that were in the game and their in game animations with some editing and extra visual effects. There were some short sequences which were made purely for the trailer but they were a lot simpler than the ones we're getting now with the trippy montages in Huohuo and Sparkle's trailers.
The character trailers are actually showing their In-Game moves ^^ i”Keeping up with Star Rail” are the videos about explaining how the character works - in Sparkle case i would watch that too. It’s pretty rare to get a character focus trailer like the first one - normally they are there to explain faction or Lore stuff What’s even rarer is to get a short animated short. Elations Aeon is called Aha and even other Aeons think he's crazy lol I've read some comments and heard ur a SHogun Raiden fan and yea HSRs version of her is next and shes going to be very strong as well so worth saving for. That... said personally sparkle is currently the strongest support for hyper carriers, even outside of mono quantum. Ruan Mei holds the spot for dual dps teams but poor bronya been kicked down a spot. Mono quantum even ignoring a major part of her kit that generates SP the hyper carry will still receive more dmg than with bronya. Non Quantum team Bronya does have a higher sheet dps increase but the huge amount of SP Sparkle gives, sparkle is still higher dps increase for that team. Then theres their eidolons.. Bronyas E1 is better than sparkles E4.. but sparkles E1,2 and 6 are better than bronyas E6. She needs a serious rework... E2 and E6 for bronya may as well not exist because the action bar forward erases any benefit of her E2 and she wants to use her skill every turn for the action bar boost erasing the benefit of E6 making the buff last 2 turns. *cough* sorry i go off on essays. Not 1 of the trust me bro gang and prefer to explain xD

[Based on comments, this requires a spoiler warning which should expire a bit before actually taking the initial trip to Penacony.] Apparently you missed one of the first bits of foreshadowing in-game: at the conclusion of the not-Pokemon tournament, we got the chance to find a memory bubble (left behind for us to find) in which Sampo was speaking to another Masked Fool. He was saying he planned to stay away from Penacony for the immediate future, as he doesn't get along well with another follower of Elation already on her way there. (He didn't name Sparkle, but it's near-certain by now that this was her.) He feels a joke isn't funny unless somebody is laughing; she feels a joke isn't funny unless somebody is crying.
Sparkle probably made up all these trailers herself to prank/fuck with US the players ...she can't be trusted.... the Masked Foools are crazy... like sampo.. so ...

I believe she isn't even to Belobog yet, so she never had a chance to see the foreshadowing because she hasn't even gotten to that point.
