Hi from South Africa. Try only tomatoes next time, without the skin. Just a pinch of salt and little bit more sugar and you have tomato jelly (or as we call it, jam) to spread on your toast. It's so delicious! Thanks for the recipe and the canning method. I'm going to make some tomato jelly now🤗
Wow those tomatoes look great! I wish I could grow as many as you. I have 16 tomato plants and I get about 1 a week if I'm lucky. I enjoy your recipe videos. Always looks delicious.
Thank you sooooo much!! I grow a combination of Amish Paste and Martino's Roma for canning type of stuff. Consider trying those varieties? I do Black Krim, Japanese Black Trilfile, and a few other types for bigger tomatoes. The heat has been pretty bad this summer so will be pulling some of my tomato plants to make room for other plants.
@@LouisianaSimpleLiving Okay thanks for the tips. I've got 4 black krim. I ate 1 tomato from it and it was good. I'll have to try the others next time.
It is one of my go-to's when hosting family or friends at the house. Tomato Jam is pretty incredible!! Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment!!!!
You can use it as a condiment on anything, you can think of it kind of like a better tasting ketchup. It’s also great over cream cheese with crackers as an appetizer itself.
Thanks,
You're welcome! If you've never maid any Tomato Jam, then you're in for a treat! Enjoy and Garden on!!

What do you put the tomato jam on? What's the best way to eat it?
