    Irony is government is running water train decorated with flowers. What is one of the biggest failure of the state is celebrated as some sort of achievement.

    I am from Uttarakhand and every yr climate pattern is changing .
    In yr 2019 and this yr 2020 witnessed high rainfall in winters( not common)
    Highly skewed Distribution of rainfall during monsoon.
    Now cloud burst is an old thing more uncommon lighting strikes is happening during monsoon(totally unexpected)
    Heavy landslides and most devasting is # Trivendra Singh Rawat .

      I feel you man, I was brought up in kotdwar, a city that never saw cloud bursts and severe rainfalls, even Dehradun for that matter is experiencing floods every now and then. Needless to mention the severe Kedarnath tradegy- one of the biggest disasters of the decade.
      My second home is Delhi and we all know what is happening there, our lungs are affected, sand storms are so common and smogs after Diwali has become the norm! The problem lies with fairness of the matter, while people with affluence who are the reason for the city's air pollution can get air filters in their homes and travel using cars, but the poor people face the brunt of it!

      @@kajolsharma8840 hmm . probably u have listen about 'chopta' .unlike every yr this yr the adjacent peaks are devoid of snow .These peaks are visible from my village .In past few months lots of black carbon have emitted from the hot mixing plants of bitumen. probably some of it have deposited on remaining snow further accelerating glacier melt..it may sound like little bookish but I have watched the effects .. these things are happening in front of me.

    We have enough of discussions on the events happening in different parts of the world, its time now to start working on finding solutions to it. Experts need to have a clear discussion with concerned ministries and should start working on it. People also need to understand the urgency and the requirements and should act accordingly. Its not only about Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi or Kolkata, its about our planet. We simply need action now rather discussing.... 🙌

      @bharat raviraja desal plants will only be made in particular places like near cities where the fishing activities are low ... this would force the fishes to go somwhere else which ultimately be advantageous for fisherman in places where fishing is widely practised ... i am not supporting desal but your theory is wrong .

    • @notsofunny_
      @notsofunny_ 4 года назад

      @bharat raviraja let it be , desal plants are not set all along the coast ... It damages the local water rather than the whole ocean

    • @notsofunny_
      @notsofunny_ 4 года назад +1

      @bharat raviraja ik and i accept the fact thats its bad for the ocean ... so is the govt. going let the people die becuase the ocean is getting damaged? will u give ur life for the ocean ? no right ... the same way , we dont have an option , the change that happened is irreversable ... lets just hope that technology develops and these things are taken care of

    Chennai is the worst city in india for water management... they can easily take sea water and use it , or at least create more lakes when there is rain...but no they wont the other district people are coming from no where and then build house in riverbed.... also Chennai has not been able to revive cooum river and made it as drain.... Chennai had water problem since its inception and still has ... as people are unintelligent...

    Dont forget that the NE monsoon was heavy in 2015 and the chembarambakkam lake was full to the brim,early morning heavy rains on 1st december sparked the floods,as the govt. having no choice,released the waters,the waters completely washed away dozens of villages in the tiruvallur district area. I went there a few months after the flood and a chill went down my spine when i noticed that plenty of villages there had disappeared without a trace, yes the floods vanished the villages,
