Deon Cole: Michael Jackson was the Most Famous Person Since Jesus (Part 9)

    --------------
In this VladTV exclusive, Deon Cole spoke about Michael Jackson. He said he thinks MJ never had a childhood, and that he mentally wasn’t there to think that something was wrong with hanging out with young boys. He definitely made it clear he thinks all of that is wrong.
In terms of the ‘Leaving Neverland’ documentary, Cole noted that the parents shouldn’t have allowed their children to be left alone with “a grown a** man” in the first place.

    1) Michael Jackson purchased the ATV catalog ($48 million in between 1985-1993) which contained, Elvis, The Beatles, Lil Richard and a few other groups I don't remember (its $50 billion worth of music today). This allowed Michael Jackson to be the soul beneficiary of the labor from white legends. This is a problem for the racist at the top of the music industry.
    2) Sony apprached him to sell them the catalog, but he refused and only offered partial ownership if they agreed to deliver partial ownership of their entire catalog. Because they wanted The Beatles and Elvis so bad they agreed, however they never intended to maintain this arrangement.
    3) The plan was to get Michael to ultimately sell his 50% stake back to them so they would re-acquire 100% of their own publishing + ATV from Michael. Of course, in order to sell the publishing Michael would need to have a need for money.
    4) The 1st allegations come shortly after this deal in an effort to compromise Michael's ability to earn by destroying his public image. (He wouldn't sell)
    5) Sony fails to properly promote his next album. (He wouldn't sell)
    6) A second round of allegations come that lead to acquittal in court. (He wouldn't sell).
    7) By this time Micahel actually does have an additional need for money after attorney fes and inactivity. Instead of selling the catalog he decides to go on one final tour called "This is It". He agreed to 10 shows, which would have been enough to clear debts and cover expenses and not need to sell his publishing stake.
    8) Somehow promoters were able to bump the show number up from 10 - 50, which Micahel did not agree to. I imagine this was to make him cancel the show agreement and have to sell his publishing. Instead, he prepared to go on anyway.
    9) Days before the tour begins Michael Jackson is found dead. Shortly thereafter, the Jackson Family sells his 50% stake (worth $50 Billion) back to Sony for a measley $750 M. Smh... That's like receiving $0.75 on a $50 transaction.
This is the reality of the death Michael Jackson (which btw was deemed a homicide or manslaughter), which cannot be accurately understood without and understanding of the business of music and music publishing or the historically unfair treatment of black artist by their record companies.

    Totally agree.
I once saw a documentary of a French TV Crew going to meet an amazonian tribe that had near 0 contact with the outside world.
They pull a laptop and star showing them images of our world
They were horrified with our industry, pollution and wars.
They had no idea who Michael jordan, Maradona, Pele (note that this was in Brazil) nor Jesus.
But then, they showed a clip of Michael Jackson and their faces lit up with smiles!
Turns out, they knew Michael and loved him.
The reason? One of the only persons contacting the tribe used to get there by boat doing some exchanges of goods.
He was always listening to Michael Jackson and wearing T-Shirts of him. As the tribe only heard music when he came along, Michael was like a God to them.
    TRUE STORY.
Also, it's been told that back in the 80's, in remote villages in Nepal, absolutely shut out from the western world, you could find NOTHING from our civilization... Except posters of Michael.
Michael Jackson was the biggest humanitarian of his era and a trend setter for celebrities in this aspect. His message was as important then as it is now.
Love for everyone, tolerance, environment, peace, politics, war.
He was universally loved in all 4 corners of the planet because his message was sent to the entire HUMANITY. Elvis was famous in the US. Queen in Europe. Michael ALL OVER THE WORLD. From the jungle of Zimbabwe to the palaces of Kings, religious and World leaders that would receive him personally every time he landed in their country.
Michael is not only the most famous person since Jesus, but a TRUE PROPHET IN ALL SENSES OF THE WORD that, IRONY OF IRONIES, also DIED because of men greed and sins... just like... JESUS.

Nana Gyambibi True. But the thing is don’t we all entrust our kids to strangers like school bus drivers, teachers, tutors, etc. Mike was weird and dressed differently but that doesn’t automatically make him a criminal. He should have been surrounded with the right people but in Hollywood it’s not possible. Almost everyone is a vulture. The flocked to Mike not for his being a person but for his stardom, you know what I mean? I bet those parents who let their kids hang out with Michael want it that way because they also benefited from it. It’s for the fame and glory. For stories to brag that you were able to associate with Mike. The documentary was psychologically manipulative that’s meant to trigger people’s emotions because that way your judgment is clouded. It even took 4 hours because it’s manipulative. Telling the truth doesn’t take 4 hours. Its aim was to play with your emotions. That’s how fucked up this society is. We’ve become a society that prosecutes and condemns people, even dead ones, based on feelings and emotions and not on facts. Scary! People would rather believe a biased docu than the court of law, which rule MJ innocent. The docu was a propaganda whose premiere even coincided with the year MJ died. It’s for profit, attention for this metoo era where anyone would just cancel anyone without knowing the full context of the story. We should’t be gullible but fact check everything the media says. Even in death they won’t let MJ rest in peace. The dead ones are really the vulnerable targets for they can no longer speak up for themselves. Whereas, Oprah would go be silent on her dear friend Weinstein.

the host asks what the heck is michael complaining about his childhood when he had everything as an adult. he doesn't realize that he's talking about material things as if they're more valuable than deep-felt relationships... mj was so lonely, even when surrounded by people. and the more popular he got, the more that people were in awe of him and could not interact with him like he was just your everday person...and i think this is what he desired. the people who want us to believe he is a pedaphile retell his life as if that was the whole focus, suddenly erasing the focus and time spent on his craft: creating, developing, practicing, in the studio, on the stage, travelling etc also, they recreate neverland as this den of seduction. no one ever speaks on how many busloads of children were invited to neverland every day, because michael's true intention was to bring happiness to children. do some research to rediscover all the wonderful things mj accomplished in his lifetime and do not allow liars to strip away his legacy. this is a man that we should be telling our children about. he was kind, loving, and giving. but don't believe me...there is plenty of videotaped history that you can watch to draw your own conclusions.

Wow. I love how ignorant this interview is. I have experienced mental abuse in just half of my childhood. I know people that have been abused, mentally and physically. It is not something that can be forgotten when your parents force you to be famous. Omg, that's just, it makes me literally fume when I hear people say this shit. His fame, was not an excuse to justify his abuse. He could have been just as famous, if he started as an adult on his own terms.
We're working now to make a childhood. It does not matter how much money you have, does not matter how much therapy, you're forever stuck with that trauma. It takes forever to move on. MJ possibly had depression, was probably touch starved and had touch aversion. He also suffered with self esteem because of his abuse as well and much more. This is all from just watching and reading his body language. Taken from my own experiences.
Michael was an adult, but he never thought of kids sexually. He did not think he was a child. He just wanted to make them happy. Cause he was not happy as a kid. He did have people around him while he was with the children, like Lisa Marie Presley, Elisabeth Taylor and Chris Tucker. So the rules do apply. Oml this interview was so ignorant. I can't even.

It’s people like him who STILL continue to spread lies about this man 12 years after his passing. He never slept in a bed with children, he slept on the floor on the other side of the room because Michaels bedroom was LITERALLY the size of my living room and kitchen COMBINED. There’s ZERO evidence that he touched those kids, just like you said, this interview is just completely ignorant and full of false information

The problems with this interview is they already pass judgement on Micheal Jackson and said that is guilty one very one sided and very opinionated and stupid. Deon Cole goes as far that Micheal Jackson never been with a woman before and never dated which is false. Michael has dated Tatum O' Neal, Kim Richards, Stephanie Mills, Ola Ray which has been documented and he shared his first kiss with Tatum O'Neal. He also had crushes on older women like Diana Ross, Elizabeth Taylor. Me personally, Michael had strong support system in his family and if his parents, brothers and sisters, friends even got wind of him doing of doing inappropriate things with child, they would not have ignored it and they would confronted him about it esp his sister Janet and his mother. With this in mind, you have use your common sense and said that the allegations of child molestation are false without a doubt

That statement starting at 2:50 shows the lack of understanding about how much THE MIND can be fucked with inside of the first ten years of a person's life. For example, take the cereal "Lucky Charms". Most people who are current fans of that cereal can trace their love of it ALL THE WAY back to childhood...which is why their marketing campaign functions as it does. Get people when they're young, you got 'em for life in more cases than not. In the case of Michael, his traumatic scars were inflicted early...possibly never resolved, and he became an extremely successful, yet scarred artist....period. Now, if THAT is 100% understood, then the behavior of this "Michael Jackson narrative" should not be a shock nor should it be headline news. It is only indicative of how fragile THE MIND of a human being is. Now can we PLEASE stop talkin' about a dude who's been dead and buried for ten years now? Seriously, what is the end game of these sort of discussions? Geeeezzzz.

You make it sound like it was his fault that he's rich and famous man sit your envious ass down. Deon did it right. He thought it was fucked up what Michael did, he didn't try to justify anything but he tried to understand from his perspective and I respect that so much. Not everyone has to have the same opinion about Michael all the time but if you don't feel the need to understand him then bye there is literally no need to offend him like that.

Saying Micheal was really famous had Nothing to do with combating or refuting what Deon was talking about. Nice try, though. (Kinda)
