Man 70$ for what I expect to be at least an 8 to 10 hour experience doesn’t seem worth it to me at launch. I’ll definitely be waiting for a low price later.
It's gonna be open world like Mafia 1 and 2. This is the biggest misconception about Mafia Old Country right now that it's not gonna have a big map with nothing to do in it. Yes, it will have just that. They elaborate on it in IGN interview. No side quests. No side activities. Just a continuous map to drive around at free will, but you always gonna have context, set up and destination.
I'm glad about that because even if the open world itself was "empty" it provided a backdrop to the missions. Adding to the atmosphere travelling between objectives and dialogue with the characters.
this game is not even open world and imo the timeline is way too early it should be set in the 1950s like the godfather game i think its not worth 70$ 6 months from realease it will be 25$ max,it looks more like a bandit western game not like a real mafia game
I mean, it’s kind of cool that they’re showing how the mafia started even if it’s gonna have their own story into it instead of any historical significance like what assassin’s Creed tried to do back in the day. I have loved every mafia game so I am sure I’m going to like this one.
So apparently afterall Salieri won't be depicted. Which is sort of now unexpected to me. The devs said something at some point that the protagonist would be a young Salieri. Or at least be involved. This Enzo being in cahoots with Salieri. It really would of been a great idea. Maybe even depicting a farther era too like in the 2nd Mafia. Towards the end of The Old Country, showing how Salieri left for the States in Chicago(Lost Heaven).
They don't have thaaat many problems. They're not perfect, but they are very good games still. You made it sound like they were junk food but they're better than that.
@@theghostofsparta4528game play is way better than any rockstar game lol... Though I think gta V and red dead redemption are better games than mafia 1 and 2... But still... Rockstar gameplay sucks

The open world is It's going to be like Mafia 1 & 2 pushing you towards the ovjective but not holding your hand like lineier games such as TLoU
Mafia 1 is linear no yea u can drive around but is that what we classify open world just driving

How is it so hard to do end game things for this franchise, gang wars? Racing? It doesn't have to be multi player either.
The trailer music sounds a bit better in this than the original trailer for some reason.
