Great video, y'all! That is beautiful country, for sure! Can't wait to see it for ourselves this coming September! Saw the other two videos but haven't had time to comment. Between work, Dottie's injured foot and a burst pipe under the house, we've been busy. Stan, the agates and Yooperites (the plain gray rock the produces spectacular fluorescent colors under UV Light) you were craving are found in a couple of places: east of Grand Marais MI on the shore line and north of Duluth, MN on the way to the Canadian border. If I recall correctly, the Keweenaw Peninsula is pretty much an "agate desert" from what I've heard. Looking forward to the next video! And Stan, aren't you getting a little long in the tooth for bike crashes (from two weeks ago)? You were pretty sore last week. We may be older violins with sweeter music but we get a bit crunchy as we get older, bro! Be careful! Glad neither of you were seriously hurt! 😊 As always, safe travels and God Bless y'all! Bob and Dottie
Hello Bob and Dottie, although we think our videos are beautiful, when you see it in person it will take your breath away. You are definitely going at the right time! Sorry to hear about Dottie’s foot and the burst pipe. Thank you for always sharing your infinite wisdom. We are always being over cautious on our bikes. Rhonda had an awful crash two years ago so I really worry about her. I must admit I am starting getting a little crunchy.😂. However, I’m sure there will be day I will hang up the bike. Until then I hope to continue and inspire folks to stay active. It is the best medicine we can ask for. Blessings to you both, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼
Hi Joel and Deb, we love doing fun and crazy things that cost absolutely nothing! We may like a little fear factor. When old people fall we don’t heal very fast. Thanks for joining us! Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼
Love seeing you two enjoying my beautiful state. You went to Copper Harbor at a good time. We went in July and it was packed! Love seeing you too again!❤
Hello Deb, thank you for joining us! We really enjoyed Michigan especially the Upper Peninsula. Copper Harbor was not in the plan. We are so happy and blessed we got to explore Copper Harbor. I’m sure we missed a few things. Seeing this small quaint town was like being in a Hallmark movie. We absolutely love it. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼
Hi Rick, pretty incredible! I was surprised how rocky it was. Almost like riding on volcanic rock. No mistakes on those trails. Loved every bit of it. So beautiful! Thank you for joining us. You were very fortunate to spend time in such a beautiful place. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼
Thanks for the video The intermediate trail around Lake Fanny Hooe is (IMO) mis labeled, it is a tough trail. The Eagle Harbor Inn is a great place to eat in Eagle Harbor. It is likely seasonal
There is a Coast Guard shipwreck up there called the Mesquite. Interesting story and a good dive. Many people think you are in the northern most part of MI but not even close. Think I am wrong do more digging.
Love that POV mountain biking! Those looked like some fun trails. Still more to add to our wish list of places to visit. Great job as usual we love this series :)
Hi Maria, our site was 152. When I show you Lake after Rhonda said it’s a premium. I take you around the trailer to the back. Big numbers 152. The biggest numbers I have ever seen. No mistaking which site you belong in. Thank you for joining us. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼
Hello Karla, thank you for joining us! We love everything about the UP. I am sure we will return someday. There was so much to do and we know we missed a lot! However, when we return we can do all the things we missed. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼
Beautiful views. wow. intense bicycle path! So glad you had a great ride. I have yet to see the milky way. Hope to some day. Yes. us Michiganders know. Really have enjoyed your Michigan videos. Michelle
Hello Michelle, thank you so much for your kind words. We hope we have done the Michiganders proud. You have a beautiful state and should be proud!! Please share our Michigan videos with everyone you know. Michigan deserves all the attention.🙌👏. We have so much more to share. Thank you for your continued support and joining us. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼
I am a former Michigander and love seeing people discover what a beautiful state it is . I was blessed to grow up enjoying the Great Lakes. Went to college in the U.P. , it a wonderful place. Thank you for letting me reminisce ❤
Hello Debra, we are so glad we could bring back some wonderful memories. We enjoyed every part of Michigan we explored. Of course the Upper Peninsula was our favorite. Thank you for joining us. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼
Just LOVE small towns, you go in the stores and they have wooden floors and they make funny noises. So Stan is a rock hound. Love your videos Girl. Safe travels.
Wooden floors that make questionable noises 😂 Stan was successful at finding a few Agates before it was over! His brother is tumbling them so we shall see 😍 Thanks, Tim! Always fun to hear from you! ~ Rhonda and Stan
It’s funny. I was wondering why one trail would be intermediate and another would be easy. I waited a few minutes and learned how difficult an intermediate trail would be. Fun video!😊
Hi Claudia, thank you for joining us. The maps you get will usually tell how difficult a trail will be. Green with a square is easy, Blue with a circle is Intermediate, Black with a diamond is difficult. They also have double black diamond which is expert. A lot like snow skiing. Nevertheless, they are all pretty easy when you hike it. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼
Hello Pam, just remember everywhere we mountain bike you can hike. Just take a nice walk around the lake. Sooooo beautiful! Thank you for joining us. Blessings, Stan and Rhonda❤️🙏🏼
