I recently trimmed the video to cut out that 15 second intro from the radio host who introduces OHMSS as if it takes place right after From Russia with Love instead of Thunderball. And I also cut out that extra 3 minutes which takes place after the OHMSS radio drama ends where it consists of a unrelated commercial and useless utter silence afterwards. I hope you guys and gals are pleased with this recent change in the video.😎
The only (reformed) Bond villain I could accept to portray James Bond. I first found these BBC dramatizations about a decade or so ago. Wonderful for road trips 👌
I've never really liked James Bond. Turned out I just hadn't yet found the right Bond...😄 Now I'm totally hooked on Toby's Bond. He is somehow much more human than any movie-Bonds. Maybe it's because we hear his thoughts too.
I absolutely loved this! Really good listen whilst working from home. Emotional ending as well. Many thanks for sharing this and the other Bond radio dramas. I've only got a couple left to listen to.
Joanna Lumley was one of the girls at the clinic in the original OHMSS film. It was a bit part, but she's very hard to miss. She seems to have modelled her performance as Bunt from the actress who played the role in the film.
She also narrated abridged versions of Diamonds Are Forever and Live and Let Die. She recorded them around 95/96 I think. Double cassettes. Her performance is really good. Although the best Bond narrator I've heard doing abridged versions is Richard E Grant.
There has to have been a better picture for the thumbnail than what we have here. If Brexit was an image, this would be it. The audiobook is great, though.
The moral of the story is Never invite the BBC around your House or NeverLand or your flat like the Martin Bashir Documentary about Michael Jackson. I hate James Bond movies ! For BBC Radio One.
These recent Bond audio dramas with Toby Stephens totally capture the original books' feel and style. Perfection.

Try reading the novels these are based on

Thank you so much for uploading this. Brilliantly done.
Very well done as usual! Wish these were made for all Bond books.
Who knew Gustav Graves would be resurrected and he’s now James Bond 😂😂😂
Typical BBC nepotism. If you're
related to the right people...?
He actually not bad villain just plot cheesy DAD plot It is good fun age 9 in cinema 2002
Very enjoyable. Such a great cast too. Thanks.

" I feel a slight stiffness coming on . " I hope they kept Lazenby's classic line ?
Magnificent thank you
You're welcome😉
cant wait for You Only Live Twice and The Man With The Golden Gun, which I believe are the last 2 main bond books to be audio-played
What about Casino Royale?
@@naughtydog1617 that too
They didn’t do you Only Live Twice because of a good adaptation they did a few years previously
An earlier adaptation of You Only Live Twice

The thumbnail is very odd.
"The ladies of ASDA."
It's all the actors in this drama.
Who voices Ruby? Sounds like Jodie Whittaker
is it just me or does bond kind of sound like Chris Hemsworth.
It’s definitely just you.
Just you
Same timbre perhaps but Hemsworth is an Aussie I think and Toby is posh British. Totally different accent
Could Toby Stephens look anymore like an Austin Powers rip off in this image??
Yes.. he could be wearing a pair of glasses.

Logic is obviously not your forte. ?
