I viewed this KZ rendition for dozens or hundred of times early morning, noon and before sleep and even travelling via rail transit system to work. I was amazed by her stunning performance in the global stage like a fire ball that emerged from darkened start to fiery finish. No Filipino artists had yet gone to international stardom to the country that she didnt speak their language, and yet became accurately fluent in so little time to prepare the renditions. Welcome to the Post-era of Age of Enlightenment in creative music where the classics, rock, rap, hip-hop, reggae, rumba, jazz and even salsa dancing are rolled into one rendition. We had yet to see the human xazophone in her rendition though she use that somewhere else in her other concerts. The era of Hybrid music is born-the KZ Tandingan musicals.
I love it so much and envy you that you have her songs entered with China's Am a Singer Contest . She is one World Best for me. Her song covers are timeless. I have watched it a hundred thousand times with all kinds of reactions.
Yeeeeesss! Totally agree with you about being able to sing the whole song... Singer is the best platform for that.. well definitely for someone with calibers like those performers in Singer ofcours😌.
That's true, she really had a better rap flow than the original of 'See You Again'. I think she had clearer phrasing here and thus the meaning resonated more. Yes, she's a great performer, with very high level of creative artistry.
