The majority of pictures I’ve hung with two holes, the holes/hardware were not placed symmetrically. In that case, this hack doesn’t work bc then you end up with the holes on the opposite side of where they need to be. It works much better using a piece of paper. Then you make sure to transfer it so the side that faced towards you originally is the side that is against the wall.
I think I understand what you mean here. I'm not trying to be a wisea$$ but for this example wouldn't rotating the tape 180 degrees work? Asking because I'm about to hang a large mirror
Beware: make sure that the holes on the back of the object to be hung are exactly evenly spaced, up and down, side by side. I have expensive mirrors from Crate and Barrel. But, they installed the holes on the back of the mirrors just a little bit off, unevenly. You'd think expensive mirrors would be made correctly...When you put that tape on the wall, it's gonna be opposite of the back of the artworkirror/whatever. If those holes aren't shaped correctly, you're screwed. It's as if this would work if you used double stick tape. I'm sure I'm not making myself clear. If this technique doesn't work for you, come back and read this message. Then you'll understand.
I just tried this tip, and I hope it works. Those little clasps on the back on the picture frame did not hold the picture in place. Those clasps were weak or too short to support the frame. My picture fell off the wall before I tried this tip. So far, it works.😊
Just use toothpaste! Apply to where the nails are supposed to hang, press the picture frame with the toothpaste onto the wall, and you have your marks 👍🏻
This is brilliant!!! I'll be using this for the rest of my life ❤
Next time try to finish your video
The rest was common sense lol but I still feel you
@@miavanispassion8526 Not to me. Common sense is subjective. I guess I'll have to search RUclips.
Never seen something so simple made so difficult.
Stick with me and I’ll show you how I do it time and time again😂😂😂😂😂
I think you missed Facebook by a couple apps
Why is everyone so negative in this comments section? You're literally helping us and they're attacking you
Thank you!! Saved me a lot of stress lol

This is a helpful idea! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Well this eliminates having to measure and being off by millimeters. Just have to make sure tape is straight with a level I guess. Thank you !!
I got the answer to my question from the comments. I really didn’t know what you were doing. Missing step one and three. But thanks.
glad you found it! I listed it in the title of the clip but should have said it in the clip too
I actually tried this recently and it worked 👍 although make sure your tape isn’t cheap because if you apply it to firmly it’ll just tear..
Very true good tapes a must
GENIUS
thank you! nice hands!
Thank you !

What does this actually solve?

so glad it worked. I hate hanging stuff. I can remember drilling all types of holes trying to figure it out lol.
Yeah great now make the picture level on the wall.
Working on it!
Where is the part 2 ?😦😂
What would you like to see?
You can Mark on a level please ❤
Thanks
Genius!
Thanks
How about showing the whole video! WTF!!!!
Thank you 😅
You're welcome!
Just put tooth paste and the hole and it’ll mark where to put the nails in
Great tip
What was the point of this?
Help with hanging pictures
This doesn’t work lol
Sorry😂
So out of focus 😮 👎
Sorry 😢
Lol wth. Just use a damn pen/pencil and outline the hole. 🤦🏻♂️
Not a not precise video
Thanks
F sake
Better make the tape is level hahaha
Exactly!
Just use toothpaste! Apply to where the nails are supposed to hang, press the picture frame with the toothpaste onto the wall, and you have your marks 👍🏻
