You can really understand where they came from (style wise). Raven is all about body, snatched, clean, glamour and silhouette, while Raja is all about that rebellous, punk, ruke breaker, thought provoking style and wiith that, you can understand why Ravens somehow cannot appreciate Sashas style.

I agree. I think Raven enjoys the traditional drag queens, not the abstract new type of queens. The abstract ones (Sasha, Jinkx, and Adore) are usually the ones who stand out while the pretty queens (Roxxy and Alexis) blend in.

Noel Siah While there might be imperfections here and there I dun think the make up looks smeared on. The placement of blue seems right and resemble tears, yellow on the lips is fine which adds to the depth. The somber expression was executed well too. Also a part of why the flair was really center in the Gaga's Applause look was the close-up of the face+centering on the eye. That's not gonna happen on the runway. As for the proportions and bagginess, I'm not the person who will always decry how an outfit fits, espc for a free-form look such as this. It's not the worst(the white fabric could've been more flowy and outrageous) but it's not bad. I guess I agree with Raja more in terms of our outlook on drag. The look got its point and not everything has to be "fierce", "polished" or seen through some objective scale.

I wish you had enjoyed and appreciated more Sasha's talent because she's taking drag to another level.
From the tone of Raven's voice, it sounds to me like she actually thinks very highly of Sasha, and boots these looks largely because she thinks Sasha is capable of a great deal more. Which she is. Dancing Rick.. Let's agree to disagree.. If you google her images from Drag Race she didn't always have the same makeup with the uni brow. Her brows were beautiful. They are all unique. I am a fan who really is amazed as to how the Drag World has grown. I remember too often going to my friend's drag show in the '70s with a smattering of acts. I personally do not like to slam Queens that have such a passion about their art. We all have our favorite queens.. Sasha just happens to be one of mine.

it’s so frustrating seeing people take ravens opinions to heart like they’re fact of the matter or like she spends her time at home poking pins through a voodoodoll of sasha. they have to say something for each look to fill the time for the episode and so they’re gonna go with their gut reactions. raven is one of the biggest stans of drag race and there are multiple videos of her being interviewed talking about how she loves and encourages anyone who wants to do drag to do it. when your job is to come into a studio look at looks and toot or boot them you’re gonna have to toot and boot them. raven is a decisive person so instead of being on the fence about each look and talking about the good and bad she picks a side and states her opinion which is what shows like toot and boot are supposed to be and it’s why they work so well together bc raja is more of the indecisive one anyways. also most of the time because they’re RU girls they’re given the photos of just the looks from the main stage to toot and boot way before the episodes air so that they can film a bunch in one sitting and release them as the episodes come out. so keep in mind when they’re tooting or booting they probably haven’t watched the entire episode to know exactly where each queen is coming from. they love drag and they’re qualified to speak on it, if listening to other peoples opinions on a web show that’s about OPINIONS is too much for you then watch one of the other series on wow. y’all make yourselves miserable i swear

It's kinda ridiculous how much people will look into FPR. Just because they don't necessarily like the outfit doesn't mean they hate the person. Raven is respectful and not afraid to speak her mind, just like Sasha is. We also need to respect that Raven was one of, if not the first "dark" or "rocker" queens on the show. She brought that edge that so many other queens are bringing now (now to mention them stealing her mug too). Raven's earned her stripes, hop off.
Drag is about performing, art, entertainment and beauty in all ways. Drag is not just about pretty queens, perfect makeup, perfect dresses and the perfect body, women's body comes in all types of shapes, colors and sizes. It's art and a form of expression to the gay community and it's really ignorant when people only consider a queen as pretty only if she is super feminine.

Sasha's fashion isn't what won her the crown. It was her AMAZING lip syncs at the finale that did, so whatever Raven says about her looks is kinda irrelevant.
Tatiana that’s the thing though. Most winners got to the finals because of their amazing looks and performance in challenges. Sasha was just safe nearly all the time. And seriously if it would have been a normal lip sync for the crown, Trinity and Peppermint would have destroyed Sasha. Honestly, Sasha won the last lip sync only because she took her white helmet off her head making it a bald head reveal. Otherwise peppermint would have won.

Noel Siah While there might be imperfections here and there I dun think the make up looks smeared on. The placement of blue seems right and resemble tears, yellow on the lips is fine which adds to the depth. The somber expression was executed well too. Also a part of why the flair was really center in the Gaga's Applause look was the close-up of the face+centering on the eye. That's not gonna happen on the runway. As for the proportions and bagginess, I'm not the person who will always decry how an outfit fits, espc for a free-form look such as this. It's not the worst(the white fabric could've been more flowy and outrageous) but it's not bad. I guess I agree with Raja more in terms of our outlook on drag. The look got its point and not everything has to be "fierce", "polished" or seen through some objective scale.

From the tone of Raven's voice, it sounds to me like she actually thinks very highly of Sasha, and boots these looks largely because she thinks Sasha is capable of a great deal more. Which she is. On another episode, when Sasha came out and revealed that little house on her head, Raven practically drooled over it, if memory serves. No hatred here, folks - move along.

it’s so frustrating seeing people take ravens opinions to heart like they’re fact of the matter or like she spends her time at home poking pins through a voodoodoll of sasha. they have to say something for each look to fill the time for the episode and so they’re gonna go with their gut reactions. raven is one of the biggest stans of drag race and there are multiple videos of her being interviewed talking about how she loves and encourages anyone who wants to do drag to do it. when your job is to come into a studio look at looks and toot or boot them you’re gonna have to toot and boot them. raven is a decisive person so instead of being on the fence about each look and talking about the good and bad she picks a side and states her opinion which is what shows like toot and boot are supposed to be and it’s why they work so well together bc raja is more of the indecisive one anyways. also most of the time because they’re RU girls they’re given the photos of just the looks from the main stage to toot and boot way before the episodes air so that they can film a bunch in one sitting and release them as the episodes come out. so keep in mind when they’re tooting or booting they probably haven’t watched the entire episode to know exactly where each queen is coming from. they love drag and they’re qualified to speak on it, if listening to other peoples opinions on a web show that’s about OPINIONS is too much for you then watch one of the other series on wow. y’all make yourselves miserable i swear

Drag is not just about pretty queens, perfect makeup, perfect dresses and the perfect body, women's body comes in all types of shapes, colors and sizes. It's art and a form of expression to the gay community and it's really ignorant when people only consider a queen as pretty only if she is super feminine.

And seriously if it would have been a normal lip sync for the crown, Trinity and Peppermint would have destroyed Sasha.
