Iron Fist is one of those hero’s like Sombra where the issue isn’t they’re really good but really hard to deal with alone. Communication is the characters best and only realistic counter in higher level play while in low level play they’ll dominate because no one comms.
Unlike Sombra though I don’t think Iron Fist needs a ground-up rework and rather just needs to have a lower reward for playing at his skill floor.
no point in comms at low elo, people wont listen and will just complain while they feed.

hulk is also an unexpected good counter against ironman. usually ironman focuses on the backline or groups of people but with hulk you can shoot from anywhere and if you hit with his stun he will slowly fall all the way down
Fiy the cacoon state for the guardians doesn't freeze their death timer. If u leave it all the way and let it cancel, you'll basically be respawned already. It does not stagger u. That's why the guardians are so played in pro teams, they make the team very good at positioning. And free res is always cool

I love playing Iron Fist but he is so hard to play in higher ELO.

The only times Iron Man can win is if he sees you coming, which is obviously not what Iron Fist is going to do.
I learned though that the gamma buffed unibeam is roughly 245 literal dps, no wonder people will do it with even the smallest interest in a Hulk pick.

But with Punch, they just keep the beam focused on the others or fly away. I'm sadge.

Like who expects a melee character to come out of nowhere when your 60 feet in the air, if punch wasn't munching them then they would have had more impact in game.
