At home, for now, I'm a soft tip dart player. No room for a sisal board and I've got 4 little ones running around. I play steel tip at my mates' place with one of 3 sets of targets that I own: alx 04, bolide 03 or crux 03. Hoping to have a nice dart room in our house when we move next Christmas
That's ridiculous. Just dont throw if there's a child in front of you and what are you living in that doesn't have room for a dartboard? A cardboard box?
@@smashyrashy there are 4 children, with the oldest 8 yrs old, and fifth is on the way, Mr Ridiculous. to make maths easier for you: there's 6 of us in a 52 square meters flat. 4 children sleep on 2 bunker beds in one bedroom, me and my wife sleep in our living room, which also acts as my office. THERE ARE NO OTHER ROOMS, SO WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO HANG MY BOARD, IN THE TOILET PERHAPS, OR IN THE SMALL KITCHEN? which part of this don't you understand? or which exactly do you find so ridiculous? please, dont hesitate to share it, we'all have a laugh. get back when you're old enough to have a kid of your own
@@smashyrashy my soft tip board is hung on the living room door, as its the only place with sufficient distance. THERE'S NO ROOM ON ANY WALLS, BECAUSE THEY'RE TAKEN BY SHELVES AND WARDROBES. i repeat: 6 OF US ON 52 SQ MTRS. why is this so hard for you to comprehend? does your brain disallow you rational thinking and gather information? are you 7? and you STILL didn't share, what was so RIDICULOUS for you. perhaps you'll understand better, once you leave your parents house...
The one in the video is a 15" Soft DartBoard. There are also 13" Dartboards that are the same as the Steel ones, with Triple and Double Bulls even smaller than the Steel as they only have two holes. In this case Single Bull is worth 25 and Double Bull is worth 50 as in Steel. Furthermore, on this Soft DartBoard you shoot from the same distance as on the Steel, i.e. 2.37m
Dartshopper sells the Koto bracket, which has both the rotating disc and the non-rotating one. I think the size is right for Granboard and Dartslive Home, should you fancy swapping your steel tip and soft tip boards.
"It lights up, does exciting things, quite good fun....but it's catered more towards the Asian market..." Was that last part necessary lol? 😆 Yes, I know soft tip is big in the Asian market. I'm Asian and have both steel and soft tip, but when I play online, I rarely come across any Asian players (I'm in the US). I'm not hating or trying to trigger anyone, but my point is, anyone can have fun with it, and plenty of different people play on the Granboard. Whenever someone comes over and plays darts for the first time, or is newer to the sport, we play soft tip coz it's a lot more accessible as far as scoring goes. They have a lot more fun on it than the steel tip (which I also have auto scoring for). Happy throwing!
I absolutely love the sound of steel tips on the board, however, I love the Soft tip, at home gameplay with my Granboard :D
Same here!

Yeah, also 13" e-dart boards are more common in Europe, 15" ones are more often in Asia, and maybe more often seen type in USA.

I love both! I just don't understand what's the hate on soft tip for some people 🤔
Screw in a metal tip. Never look back. Problem of soft tips darts solved.
I use soft tip-darts with conversion points for league play.

The sound and feeling is night and day between the two. I can't stand soft tip.
