@@minthuya3260Not really, his Carb needs work. This CB400 (early) was always running on 4 Valves. The later ones work on 2 valves pre 6.5k. His issue is either the engine or the carbs. Nothing to do with VTEC.
It has blocked pilot jet on a cylinder by the sound of it when it starts getting up there ,had this problem myself .carb clean n new o rings what a dffrnce ,
I'm 5'8 and my sit position is perfectly fitted, i think 5'4 it's enough to drive this bike but more likely dangerous becau your feet doesn't Completely tread
@@Mhmdhiari93. Fyi, inline-4 engines really have little to no power in the low end. They have a linear power delivery. Most of the power is present in the mid to high rpm range. I actually chuckled when you said that the bike has no power after you were just revving it at between 3-6k RPM. Try revving it to around 11k RPM. HTH
This bike is a heap of crap... Its swapped many parts from original. This is a Version R, with a humpset of a Spec 3. Moreover that engine would go kaput if you'd put another 500-1000ks on it. Cb4s are absolute pocket rockets, I've owned all versions of it and currently the proud owner of a 2020 CB4 with ABS, but this is just a total fruit salad man.... Glad you didn't end up buying it...
@@Mhmdhiari93. I'm from Sri Lanka, so I'd say ideal for our roads... The power, engine capacity, reliability and agility of the bike is splendid. Anything more than a 4 banger 400 for Sri Lanka is too much (my opinion). But the bike is as tasty as it could get...

You have to understand what a power curve is and where it is to ride a small inline four.
if its a VTEC, you aren't allowing all four cylinders to open buddy. My bad, I just saw the opening picture, its not a VTEC

Sounds like something's wrong with the fuel system or spark plugs and or coil. Not all cylinders are firing properly.
