I think it might be an idea to start including a short paragraph explaining what the player of the bass in the demo thinks of the instruments! That would be valuable information. I would value Lars input. Great playing as ever.
It combines the coolest parts of a Ric bass while also doing it's own thing, I'm a guitar player but been wanting to add a quality bass to my collection for tracking and recording and I honestly might pick this up
They are beautiful! I just bought a white Nidhogg. Honestly, it was love at first sight. No other bass design has every made me flip out like this. Thanks for making everyone aware of these great looking Danish basses. Also, thanks for making me $1600 more in debt :)
Fell in love with the look of those since I've seen the wingman in black on Patrick Hunter's channel

I wonder if lars is under contract, it seems he only talks about sadowsky. So maybe? Unsure though.
I have a friend with one of their guitars. I first heard of them a couple of weeks ago when he brought it to play at church.
Basses are okay but that Bass Face shirt is the star of this review!
Where can we get that shirt man?

Been interested in the Nidhogg for some months now. Super sleek looking machine! Reasonable prices I think too.

@@MHChang2014 Exactly why I like it! Doesn't seem to have the down sides to the Ric design either.

Welcome to the Baum family soon! All the best, Jeppe :)
Cheaper than a Rickenbacker, and probably better. I'd call that value.
The Nidhogf hasn't individual tone and volume controls, like a stacked knob Jazz.
It's Volume, Blend and Individual tone.
3:15 It's got that Rick tone. P.S. What the fug? 3:52
Man, those are gorgeous...
super helpful video. thanks!
I wish I liked the sound of these! I find the designs awesome!
I must have one! Sound epic and I always wanted to play a tree!
The shirt! THE SHIRT!!!
Both sound really ballsy and interesting, great playing, Lars ❤
Thanks man! :-)
Really liking the look and sound of these basses. Great video as usual and Lars really nailing it in the demos (as usual!). 👍😎👍
Love the Nidhogg!
The price makes them less attractive. I’ll stick with my amazing Yamaha BB.
SOUNDS GOOD LARS
THX mark! 😀
Very, very nice!
nice, but expensive!!! (great t-shirt btw)
I'm annoyed that you emphasized the main difference being pickup spacing, but you kept playing the neck pickup solo.
This is how it sounds with both pickups…! It’s just very different than a normal jazz bass
In Minas Gerais (state of Brazil) baum is a word for good, sounds like a pun to me😂😂
In German in means tree 🙂
Finally!!!❤
Hahah, great shirt!
Do not know who came first, but that headstock is identical to a Maruszczyk Cazpar
Cafeteria style bass design: Yamaha, Gibson, Moollon, Rickenbacker, eBay and so on.
All looks, no sounds. Good competition for Gibson
pick is illegal
Almost 6k € for Baum basses. XD
If you buy 3
@@basstheworldofficial I downloaded the catalog and sais 5204€
Denmark doesn’t have Euros. It’s probably the price in Danish Crowns
5201 eur Sorry (not 5204) maybe is the danish version and not the Asian one
Just checked. They cost 1400 to 1500 Euros
Don't sound very good !
A real looker.
