    NSC was founded this year, not in 2021

    6:10 the logo that you attached to the picture of Wilders is not actually from his party (PVV). Not that it deserves the free promotion anyways…

    Another great result for democracy and freedom. Just hope they get to deliver on their mandate. Can't help feeling that there will be fight back from the incumbent politicians to try and derail this result. Their noses are too deep in the EU feeding trough to want to give it up easily.

    NSC is actually center-left on social issues, and center-right on economic issues (compassionate, but frugal). So exactly opposite of what you stated, and what is often erroneously stated in Dutch media as well (especially in left wing and liberal media). For instance Omtzigt yesterday defended his record on abortion. He said it was because of his personal effort that abortion was not privatized like the rest of our healthcare system in 2006, guaranteeing it as a free, subsidized service, outside of the prying eyes of insurance companies... He may not be 'progressive', be also isn't 'conservative' in the traditional sense. Although he comes from a christian party, and he himself is christian, his new party NSC is not 'christian'. It does take some inspiration from christian democracy (as have many other parties in the Netherlands), but does not confess to any denomination. There are atheists on their list (and a Frisian Nordic pagan?)...

      WhatS his stance on the Muslim invasion of the Netherlands? Is he going to stop the mass wake of immigrants?

    • @i.k.8868
      @i.k.8868 6 месяцев назад

      @@elementonly08 What muslim invasion? There is no such thing. The % of muslims has not increased in over 20 years, lol.

    • @i.k.8868
      @i.k.8868 6 месяцев назад

      @@elementonly08 Most immigrants are christian or not religious, and the settled population of muslim background is going though secularization and religious diversification. Over 20% of second generation Turkish Dutch is not religious, over 50% of Iranian Dutch is not religious, a large percentage of Afghan Dutch are not religious... etc. And even those that remain religious in large part do not adhere to the rules of islam. For instance less than half of second generation Turkish Dutch participates in the ramadan, almost half eats pork, only 10% prays, only 20% wears a headscarf. For most second generation 'muslims' in the Netherlands, islam is only a small part of their identity. So while the absolute number of 'muslims' may be growing slightly due to immigration of refugees, in relative terms that growth is cancelled by non-muslim migrants and apostacy (or more rarely conversion, mostly to protestantism. mostly amongst Iranians, but also recently a congregation was started in the Turkish language). Since the 90s the percentage of muslims in the Netherlands has remained approximately 5%.

    • @i.k.8868
      @i.k.8868 6 месяцев назад

      @@elementonly08 And indeed, Omtzigt wants to curb immigration, but mostly labor and student immigration. He is married to a refugee himself (a christian woman from southeastern Turkey). He said in total the Netherlands should allow 50.000 immigrants per year. That is about 25% of last year, but 200% of the average yearly number we had between 2000-2010. So in fact he is not against migrants, rather keeping the flow to manageable numbers, mostly because there is not enough housing. Refugees will always remain welcome for NSC. So if there are more refugees than expected, the government will have to implement measures to curb influx of foreign students and workers. That is his goal, but it will be difficult within EU legislation.

      @i.k.8868 6 месяцев назад

      @@elementonly08 If you think a 'muslim invasion' is taking place in the Netherlands, I would like to remind you that the woman leading the polls right now is an atheist migrant who was born in Turkey, the person leading the party in second place is married to a christian woman from Turkey, the second leader of the party in third place is agnostic (or christian, not sure?) and has a father who was born in Morocco, the leader of the party in fourth place is agnostic has grandparents who were born in Indonesia and is married to a Hungarian woman with Turkish background, the leader of another party is agnostic and has a Turkish father. The last leader of the current second largest party (not doing too well in the polls), is agnostic and is married to a Palestinian. The current speaker of the house is agnostic and has a Moroccan father. The last speaker of the house was born in Morocco and was a liberal muslim (didn't wear headscarf, etc.), the mayor of the second largest city was born in Morocco and is a practicing but liberal muslim (in response to terrorism he said that if you don't accept our way of life, you better leave). Etc, etc, etc, etc. There is no islamic 'invasion' of the Netherlands. Most muslims in the Netherlands do not practice their religion much. Most are here because their parents and grandparents were invited here by the Dutch government to do jobs others didn't want to do, or because they fled (often islamic) dictatorships. They came here to better themselves and contribute to society. Sure there are plenty issues, but no 'islamic invasion'.
