Bondi released a fairly large number of files in the first few months of 2025. Many had redactions, and usually require a Judge to unseal.
Biden's AG could have released more files, like she did.
Maxwell had a final appeal then, which ended in October. The few months gag order was over again. Bondi prepared the 2nd batch of files. Congress then ordered the files unsealed in mid Nov '25. This means they can view them. Innocent names are still redacted for the public. Whether she handled it wrong, is a separate question. It's currently unproven.
