To explain the ult at 12:20 if you cancel her ult without shooting all 3 chains you still have to choose your landing location, and that's what you did when you thought you were going to chain the 2nd person. To insta cancel early you have to fire a chain, cancel the ult, and then choose where you are going to land. If you are fast enough with it you can chain, cancel, and land at the bottom of the pole to pull someone before they have time to react with beads.
Just a tip for da ji jungle: you should put a second level into your 2 before you start maxing the 1 so that you can actually clear effectively with it.
Another tip: the direction you face after you 3 changes where you spawn on them (if you turn around after using 3, you will spawn behind the enemy).

He says in the video that you can change the direction of the 3 and he also explained he maxed the 1 instead of the 2 because he went manikins instead of another item and wanted to get the auto damage to clear instead

Bumba's Hammer obviously, with Hydra's Lament and Jotunn's Vigor to start. I usually go crusher/brawlers into Titan's Bane then Heartseeker, but that's pretty flexible to mess with for mid-lategame items.
This build does a heavy amount of damage at all stages of the game with a reliable combo of 2, auto, cancel into 1, gust auto. Early game this gives you the easy ganks with heavy damage Horus is already known for, and mid to late you'll almost one-shot squishies.
Hoping to see if a more skilled player can do well with it too, or if I'm just suddenly getting matchmaking diffed (I doubt it though, I only started jungling two weeks ago!)
I've always thought of Da Ji as a sort of non-invisible Loki. Her 3 is Loki's ultimate more or less, her 1 is Loki's old 3 and 1 (to an extent), but better, and her 2 is Loki's new 3 -and as you say, she has and extra ultimate that is pretty powerful and useful. Also, her passive is so much better than Loki's, imo.
When she came out, everyone pretty much called her a Loki/Ares hybrid. Mostly Loki but also taking one of the best parts of Ares plus the added safety while using the ult.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees the insane damage on hidden blade on daji but I'm even more impressed that you are not doing a cheesy build
You can still 3 to Titan as Da Ji. But only if the Titan is not encased in ice. So the enemy needs to be pushed up past pheonix before it will work

Another tip in the comments for daji: if you hold left click or your auto attack button while you press 4 it gives you a free auto on whoever you are next to. So if you 3 auto 1 auto 4 while holding auto you get an extra auto cancel

If it’s a Logitech wireless mouse I’ve found the range isn’t gonna be the issue but line of sight, if there’s stuff in between the signal can have issues
Not sure if a lot of people know this but if you cancel your 2 on purpose after the last swipe you can auto cancel out of it faster than if you were to let the animation play out.
