EDIT: When I said don't go red if you don't have dark scythe that is just not true at all lol. You just won't make like endgame honey but to get there you will need to go red. You can go red with petal wand and still make good honey. I would recommend going at least very early blue to make a good amount of starting honey to boost you through red faster especially if you can macro. Sorry about that. Also, I am getting a lot of corrections with the mutations, I have realized that move speed is by far the best mutation in the game so make sure to put that on vector and precise bees. Spicy bees I would do BAR. Move speed is probably second best. (please correct me if BAR is not the best for spicy). @@Pxlarizar I would like to know how blue is better. Like you need to farm max bubble bloat for even the chance of a good boost. I don't know anyone that wants to spend 30-45 minutes of popping bubbles just to do a boost that won't even give you that much honey. Also I started as red and didn't run into any problems. As long as you stick with it you are fine.
don't forget that you should get x100 puffshroom blessing, mondo blessing and at least x40+ robo party blessing (if beesmas is active) before boosting good guide btw :)

lowk i been doing some very wrong things going red i was blue making like 1t over night and then i rolled for ssa and got scorch and saw not knowing it was a 2/5 amulet andi went red with only 3t honey and messed up i will try my best tho and use this guide to help me get back up thank you so much
I was a full blue hive as of yesterday and decided to go red today. After switching, many people have told me to stick with blue for early-late game or at least until your hive is lvl 18 as it's easier to make Honey. I have 1t left (I had 3.4t) from my honeyday boosting (I will probably never get that amount again) which would be enough to switch me back to blue, should I or should I not and why? I also have 0 gifted spicy's, precise, or vector bees and im not quite sure what to do. My hive is lvl 15 with 2 lvl 16's btw. Edit: I may have switched too early lemme know if you have any ideas to improve, I can spend the 1t if I have to to switch back im just trying to avoid it.
@@Croissant000 hmmm yea that's a tricky situation. 1T isn't enough to switch back to blue and boost with red will be hard with no gifted. I would recommend trying to get as many gifted spicy and precise as you can using strawberries and macro for them if you don't have very many. If you can't macro you might be cooked im not going to lie 💀. If you don't have a good SSA try to at least get scorched and maybe a scorch saw with the 1T honey. It's going to be difficult to get out of early red with no gifted or anything like that so it's going to be a bit before you make good honey again. Gifted and good SSA are the top priority though. I wouldn't switch back to blue because you won't have enough honey to and will get stuck with half red and half blue. Let me know if you have any more questions

If you switch back you will need a solid amount of gifted and switching would cause it to be a waste. If you stick with red (if that's your main goal) you can only go up from here and will eventually be making better honey than you were with blue

Yeah but isn't that like every color? I would say macroing is still very important but blue makes honey because of macroing, while red and white can boost without, just a lot more setup is needed. I don't think macroing is more necessary in red than blue. For top players maybe, but for everyone else probs not.
Yea, flames collect pollen when on the field, do a bit of damage to mobs around them, and while near the flames they grant flame heat. The flame heat boosts attack and red pollen (up to 2x red pollen and 25% attack). If you pick up the flame fuel ability token (from gifted spicy bees) it will increase the amount of time the flames are on the field, pollen they collect, and converts a ton from your bag. It's one of the main ways red converts. Hope this helps and feel free to ask anything else!
@demonff4644 use the pesticide planter in stump then mountain top and then coco and keep repeating it in this order , it will give you lots of neon berries
It kinda depends where you are. Saw is mainly for converting, so if you noticed you keep filling up without saw then I would do saw. If your bag isn't filling up too much I would get a 5/5 scorch. The main stats you want on your SSA for red is Red Pollen, BAR, and crit. I would say those are the most important, then bee gather and normal pollen. Also if you don't boost that often, I would maybe go for saw just so you can use it for other stuff (ex: stick bug, ant challenge, robo, retro that sorta stuff).

No hate but I disagree, even without macro blue is the best starting hive as it is insanely cheap all you need is solo pop and early build no fully gifted mythic hive required. i went red hive, and don't know what to do, I have 55 days of playtime, I have 7 spicys, 11 precises, 48 bees. And I'm just underleveled for red hive, I don't know how to get back. Can I have some help?
To be honest, it sounds like the best plan is just commit to red. You almost have the right red mythic ratio and you just need some vectors. You should be making good honey even if your bees are under level. You might just have to commit to red and actively play and boost as much as you can to earn honey. If you can macro and want to go blue to earn idle honey you can do that or you can stick with red if you like active play. Also I would try and make sure that most if not all quest lines are done (mainly spirit) so you don't struggle with opposite color pollen quests. Hope this cleared it up a little and please feel free to ask anymore questions!

For an SSA, getting star saw would probs take like 15-20T tops of you get unlucky but getting good stats on it would probably be a lot more so I would save up like 30T for a very solid start. I checked your red hive and I have to say im impressed with the beequips and honey made so congrats on that! But I would like to know what I can improve on because our hives look the same except for drop carp for vec cuz of honey mark smiley and no hasty.

I would recommend attack. I think attack % is better than the attack + but i'm not 100% sure. I think all the other mutations are equally as bad (besides energy, never use energy).
I wouldn't say it is necessarily bad, it's just that those are really only useful for attack because you don't make your honey from spicy or precise bees. If you want a better attack, the attack stat buffs the base attack so that one is most likely better. Instant conversion is useless because your bees don't really convert that much pollen for you, and if your backpack keeps filling up, that's a separate problem. Again, a mutation is better than no mutation so if you can't afford anything else at the moment, don't sweat it, it won't be life-changing honey (unless you are leader board type end game because having the right mutation will make the difference if you are on leader boards or not). It depends how much honey you have. I would also recommend getting to a lvl 18 hive too just to make the red hive a little better. I would recommend at least 100T for duel passive (you might get unlucky) and around 50T for mythics. That should be a good amount of honey for a good switch.
It allows the bees to move to flowers faster. Also for vector and precise it is really good because vectors triangulate gets bigger faster, and precise bees get up to their target practice faster, and attack faster. Also it is one of the only ways to boost bee movespeed.
Not very useful as spicy bees give all the rage tokens we need, precise gives use the tokens links we need, and the gifted ability of 10% ata is not very useful, especially when going for pollen. Also he is not needed for beequip slots, which I didn't explain in the video but plan on making a beequip video soon.

You can go red without dark scythe (especially if you cant macro) and no your bees dont have to be gifted to make a good amount of honey. However, if you expecting to make like trillions you probably wont if you don't have the dark scythe or any gifted. I would focus on getting one of each bee gifted (for all the gifted hive bonuses) and then work on gifting your precise and spicy. Then for the dark scythe, kill as many bugs as you can, do your bosses, and try and find some people to help with puff shrooms. Thats fine to start, but in order for the red hive to make any good amount of honey, you will need at least 5-6 gifted vector, spicy, and precise along with the gifted rares, epics, and legendary.
Its been ages since I started as red and with the new changes and updates im not too sure. I would try a boost and see how much you make. All I know is you will definitely make more the more gifted you have.
You mostly won't make honey. The main way of making honey blue is macro. That is the only reason to go blue because it has horrible attack and everything else and some people want to make idle honey. You can make honey without macro if you want to grind out bubble bloat for 30+ minutes and tide blessing. It is not worth going blue and not having a macro. I don't know why anyone would because it's just painful to make honey without it.
No, you should have 4 tad poles. This should give you a good supply of baby love. The rage bee is not good because you don't need rage tokens (you get the from spicy) and don't need token links (get those from precise) and the +1 attack hive bonus isn't very good especially for pollen.

This guide is so trash like most of RUclips Guides. "Don't go blue if you don't macro." Blue doesn't need to macro they just benefit the most from macroing. It is highly recommended to go blue after SSA because its very cheap compared to red and white with their gummy saw and scorch saw. Wtf you mean you can go red without dark scythe? If you go red without dark scythe, your boosts will just be blue's honey in 1 hour of macroing/grinding with no effort. Red also needs to macro the same amount as blue if not more for their boosts and their alts. Red doesn't need fuzzy or vicious. By the time you should be switching to red, having a fuzzy alt is basically REQUIRED for red. 1 fuzzy isn't going to pollinate the field enough. Vicious is self explanatory because you already have a lot of attack. Also, attack is worthless in early red because you will just miss your hits and blue still has decent attack with a high balloon blessing. Lastly, before switching you need digital or be close to getting it. There is no hive composition without digital in red. Getting a fully gifted hive is also VERY important. You will not have enough precise marks, flame heat, and long marks if you don't have a gifted hive. No hate but you need to have more experience with red. To all the people that want to switch to red, I recommend getting a lvl 20 hive and at least 1qd saved up. This is from a lvl 20 blue hive btw.

Also you don't need to be lvl 20 if you don't want, you don't NEED digital to go red and you definitely don't need 1qd. You can get all mythics and good SSA with way less than that. As long as you have a plan for gifted like lots of straw or tickets. You sure as hell don't NEED a fuzzy alt to go red. I've been red all my life and still don't have a fuzzy alt and was never blue and turned out fine you really don't need that much prep in order to make good honey. You talk as if everyone that wants to go red needs to go blue for a very long time and get end end game blue for red to be any good when in reality that's not true

You are missing out on 3x honey without one. And you do need digital you will be missing out on a lot of like 2-4x honey (depending on the amount of drives you have.) You don't need to go blue to be red, but you will progress 10x faster by going blue first then switching to red.

for me you should save up honey first, when you think you save enough get scorching star and start making your red hive

What mutations can i get beside movespeed and bar for both spicy and precise?
I would recommend attack. I think attack % is better than the attack + but i'm not 100% sure. I think all the other mutations are equally as bad (besides energy, never use energy).

I wouldn't say it is necessarily bad, it's just that those are really only useful for attack because you don't make your honey from spicy or precise bees. If you want a better attack, the attack stat buffs the base attack so that one is most likely better. Instant conversion is useless because your bees don't really convert that much pollen for you, and if your backpack keeps filling up, that's a separate problem. Again, a mutation is better than no mutation so if you can't afford anything else at the moment, don't sweat it, it won't be life-changing honey (unless you are leader board type end game because having the right mutation will make the difference if you are on leader boards or not). I'm a level 17 blue hive when should I switch?
It depends how much honey you have. I would also recommend getting to a lvl 18 hive too just to make the red hive a little better. I would recommend at least 100T for duel passive (you might get unlucky) and around 50T for mythics. That should be a good amount of honey for a good switch.

Why is movespeed so good for mutations?
It allows the bees to move to flowers faster. Also for vector and precise it is really good because vectors triangulate gets bigger faster, and precise bees get up to their target practice faster, and attack faster. Also it is one of the only ways to boost bee movespeed.

Why you don't need rage bee?
Not very useful as spicy bees give all the rage tokens we need, precise gives use the tokens links we need, and the gifted ability of 10% ata is not very useful, especially when going for pollen. Also he is not needed for beequip slots, which I didn't explain in the video but plan on making a beequip video soon.

You can go red without dark scythe (especially if you cant macro) and no your bees dont have to be gifted to make a good amount of honey. However, if you expecting to make like trillions you probably wont if you don't have the dark scythe or any gifted. I would focus on getting one of each bee gifted (for all the gifted hive bonuses) and then work on gifting your precise and spicy. Then for the dark scythe, kill as many bugs as you can, do your bosses, and try and find some people to help with puff shrooms. Thats fine to start, but in order for the red hive to make any good amount of honey, you will need at least 5-6 gifted vector, spicy, and precise along with the gifted rares, epics, and legendary.

You mostly won't make honey. The main way of making honey blue is macro. That is the only reason to go blue because it has horrible attack and everything else and some people want to make idle honey. You can make honey without macro if you want to grind out bubble bloat for 30+ minutes and tide blessing. It is not worth going blue and not having a macro. I don't know why anyone would because it's just painful to make honey without it.

No, you should have 4 tad poles. This should give you a good supply of baby love. The rage bee is not good because you don't need rage tokens (you get the from spicy) and don't need token links (get those from precise) and the +1 attack hive bonus isn't very good especially for pollen.

@@KaiserMapper I would just stick with 4 carps, 12 precise, 8 spicy, 8 vectors, and 4 tads. You should be able to fit those into your comp somewhere. What do you have in your hive that's not in the hive comp I showed in vid?

This guide is so trash like most of RUclips Guides. "Don't go blue if you don't macro." Blue doesn't need to macro they just benefit the most from macroing. It is highly recommended to go blue after SSA because its very cheap compared to red and white with their gummy saw and scorch saw. Wtf you mean you can go red without dark scythe? If you go red without dark scythe, your boosts will just be blue's honey in 1 hour of macroing/grinding with no effort. Red also needs to macro the same amount as blue if not more for their boosts and their alts. Red doesn't need fuzzy or vicious. By the time you should be switching to red, having a fuzzy alt is basically REQUIRED for red. 1 fuzzy isn't going to pollinate the field enough. Vicious is self explanatory because you already have a lot of attack. Also, attack is worthless in early red because you will just miss your hits and blue still has decent attack with a high balloon blessing.
Lastly, before switching you need digital or be close to getting it. There is no hive composition without digital in red. Getting a fully gifted hive is also VERY important. You will not have enough precise marks, flame heat, and long marks if you don't have a gifted hive. No hate but you need to have more experience with red.
To all the people that want to switch to red, I recommend getting a lvl 20 hive and at least 1qd saved up.

Also you don't need to be lvl 20 if you don't want, you don't NEED digital to go red and you definitely don't need 1qd. You can get all mythics and good SSA with way less than that. As long as you have a plan for gifted like lots of straw or tickets. You sure as hell don't NEED a fuzzy alt to go red. I've been red all my life and still don't have a fuzzy alt and was never blue and turned out fine you really don't need that much prep in order to make good honey. I will admit I did make plenty of mistakes in this guide and that was stupid but I corrected a lot of the dumb ones in the pinned comment. You talk as if everyone that wants to go red needs to go blue for a very long time and get end end game blue for red to be any good when in reality that's not true
@@Random_BSS You really need all the stuff I stated if you want to make good honey. 1qd is the most you can switch with if you're unlucky. You really do need a fuzzy alt before going to red. You are missing out on 3x honey without one. And you do need digital you will be missing out on a lot of like 2-4x honey (depending on the amount of drives you have.) You don't need to go blue to be red, but you will progress 10x faster by going blue first then switching to red.

Do you want to go red? If so I would make sure all of your quest lines are done so you don't have to worry about dealing with blue pollen Spirit Bear quests as a red hive.
