Question.... Why would a nurse say they usually the speed on number two and number three they are not supposed to use constantly cuz it could dry the patient out??? Are there different readings?

You would use intermittent if you have a nasogastric tube in the stomach. That is considered low-intermittent suction.
Question.... How long are the hoses usually? Some look so long.
About 6 feet, but extensions can be added if needed.
