    I appreciate you very much. The hospital that I work in has three different types of regulators and this style appears to be the most challenging to set up for many that I work with. Your explanation will not go in vain.

    Question.... Why would a nurse say they usually the speed on number two and number three they are not supposed to use constantly cuz it could dry the patient out??? Are there different readings?

      You would use intermittent if you have a nasogastric tube in the stomach. That is considered low-intermittent suction.

    Question.... How long are the hoses usually? Some look so long.

      About 6 feet, but extensions can be added if needed.
