Knock on wood, but a massive relief when your vehicle survived the miles.
One also has to really appreciate the companionship/ sharing with another that can be quite an endurance test within itself.
Glad to see no-one was left with a Bus Pass !

Yeh keep hearing about these trips and how tiring the constant driving is. It changed my mind about doing something like this as not staying somewhere long enough to soak it up is not the best

Great video of your journey Becky, how about a kit used video with your experiences of using: chiller, cooker, cooking utensils, tent, awning, utensil cleaning, personal cleaning and shower, etc? Pro's and Con's
would be interesting and could be a filler for a week away from the camera some time.

An adventure is whatever we venture in. No matter when or how. Each epoch has its conforts and its challenges. There is risk everytime we dare to step out of our confort zone, no matter the technologie you use; a map or a GPS are both instruments. If you were born earlier you would have been sailing across part of the Atlantic with erratic GPS and crazy sailling partners, or bicking throught the Azores islands with rucksacs pending from the bike, like I did. If I was born later, I wish I could do what you are doing! ...This summer we went for a camping trip across Europe with our two children; I used maps (I love it!) and GPS, google, etc.... Not less of an adventure because of it. Anyways, try a camping trip with kids... that's adventure for the adults, indeed :) Congratulations and thank you for sharing! Keep on!

Campaign for britin (as in opposition to brexit) and a lot of such inconveniences will disappear again… We experience the same “sh*t” if we want to travel the beautifull UK…. Such a pity overall TBH
I believe you can do 180 days if you spend 90 days in non EU countries, like Norway and Switzerland etc. I might be wrong, as I've never been lucky enough to have so long off work anyways! 😀
@@MarkoCoomo it's only non Schengen countries so Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Morocco. Sadly Norway/Sweden being non EU doesn't count 😭 if it did that would be perfect.
