Ideal scenario - Your video is very well researched and the most accurate.
Real Scenario - WA misses to copy a lot of data. Most of the data from unread group chats are lost. WA also misses to copy the data where contacts are on iCloud or iPhone as we only selected WA data to copy and unchecked Contacts.
Trying to repeat the process once again - this time I will check copy Contacts as well along with WA data.
PS - Watched your videos 3-4times and watched every step again while it transfer was in progress.
Conclusion - WA is a complicated App. Might as well delete it completely, if the data is not copied completely.
Exactly same happened with me. I completed the process and 40% of data didn't only copy... frustrated.

i dont have the QR code appear on new phone(Vivo), and try the manual method Settings > chats >move chats to android, Both methods is not successful. Try on another google phone (pixel), unsuccessful as well

it says can't connect to other device. Try another cable. If your other device is an iPhone keep it unlocked. I don't understand why this error.

Should we always do the reset of the android phone? Can we use this option without restarting? Or doing a factory reset on Android phone or do We have to always do the factory reset?
As per my knowledge in samsung phone you can transfer without reset using smart switch but other android phones reset is required.

Hello @tej ji - For me the "Apps" options is not coming only. I tried to do it many times... it does not show me apps option so I can't eventually see the whatsapp app option also. I recently bought Google Pixel 7 and I have iphone 7. Not sure what is the problem here. Can you please reply urgently here?

Mujhe ek help chaiye. Mere paas iPhone 6 ki lightning to USB type A cable hai aur mujhe chats Redmi me transfer karna hai jisme type C hai. To agar main ek Type C OTG lekar usme lightining cable ki Type A end connect Karu, fir transfer ho jaega? Ya mujhe ek lightning to type c kharidna hoga? Plz bataye.

@@imsankalpr android 12 or higher hona chahiye, you can use another mobile to transfer than upload whatsapp backup in google drive of your account.
Again login in whatsapp in your redmi and restore the backup. In samsung mobile use smart switch app to transfer without reset

Hello Sir i was doing the same thing after watching the video and i have more than 7 GB data in my WhatsApp. Of offcourse its takes long time but every time after 50 % transfer the Samsung mobile battery is completely draining though it is 100 percent charged and can not see anything on Samsung because it is taking charge from Android to iphon. so can I keep it after mobile is switched off due to this every time i have to disconnect the cable or any other option to outcome of this issue? Please advice sir
Charge your iphone mobile full and also samsung before process start, reduce data if possible by deleting forwarded videos and photos. You can also transfer whatsapp in samsung mobiles using smart switch app watch my this video

Hi Tej, At 11:03 you have Reset the phone and backed up the phone. I would like to go back to the old backup which i had before moving whatsapp from iphone. Does a new Google drive phone backup delete previous backup?
you have previous backup still available in icloud drive, again install whatsapp in iphone restore backup from icloud and than transfer.
Google drive whatsapp and icloud whatsapp backup are separate they dont overwrite but google drive one backup will be overwritten by newest backup in google drive.

Now i would like to goback to the old version of phone backup which i had in google drive before moving whatsapp. Does a new Google drive phone backup at 11:03 will delete previous backup i had or i have to reset the phone without taking backup as the Whatsapp has been backed up in Google drive already.
@@mmrrajmmr new google drive backup will delete or overwrite existing WhatsApp back in android, no need to reset phone.

I have a doubt
I was using an iPhone a few years ago. I switched to Android later and been using since 3 years.
I really wanted to transfer my data from iOS to Android back then but I never figured out how.
But I have all my data backed up from earlier.
Is it possible to transfer the data from iOS to Android without losing the current data in my Android device (It's merging that I'm speaking of)?
Merging is not possible, and also for transferring that old iphone data you need an iPhone.

In samsung mobile you can transfer using smart switch app without reset android mobile and without android 12. Android 10 or later works on smart switch app. In normal android phone android 12 or higher require.

You can try but better to turn off encrypted backup.

You need a samsung mobile with smart switch app of any your friends. Transfer chats iphone to samsung using smart switch app watch my video. Now add your google account and back to to Google drive your WhatsApp. Now in your android mobile you can retrieve that back from Google drive.
Hi, When I clicked on move chats to android option in the WhatsApp, it went to the next screen. But for some reasons I had to go back to the previous screen and then again when I checked the move chats to android option, it is showing grayed (Disabled ) and not allowing me to go to the next screen. If you trust once, second time this option not come, force restart your iphone by pressing vol up key and release press vol down key and release than immediately press power button untill iphone restarted with apple logo and try. Also reset privacy settings.
Try again by resetting android phone or restarting if already reset.

Restart both phones, clear location and privacy settings in iphone under general.
Connect with cable and tap over start tranfer than you will get trust this pc. Sometimea by connecting only not showing trust pc when you start process in android than it will come.
when i connect my iPhone with android mobile using lightening cable (Genuine Apple Product) - iPhone is getting charging symbol but trust option is not popping up and "connect both device using the cable" Message is popping up in Android mobile screen - Please support.

You can reset privacy and location settings in general, also force retstart iphone by vol up and release , than quickly vol dn and release, now continue press side button untill apple logo came and release.

If you have mentioned time stamp it would be better.
I have mentioned about turning off encrypted itunes backup of whole iphone if someone have already taken itunes backup, otherwise you can skip this process.

you can try repeat the whole process, some times things are not done in one go.

On ios 11 it will not work, you can borrow someone's iphone 12 or 13 install whatsapp and restore your data using apple id addition. Now transfer to android phone.
