I love this channel. So happy I found it yesterday because I was looking for more Medusa deep dives.
Have you considered doing one for Ada Blackjack?
This book is a great dive into the befores, durings and afters of the expedition she was part of. Ada Blackjack: A True Story of Survival in the Arctic by Jennifer Niven.

We in australia know all about invasive species.
The dumbest one is probably the cane toad.
Australia has a huge issue back in the day with cane beatles.
No one in authority does any research, just basically hears about cane toads.
"That should eat these cane beatles".
    Oh dear.
Turns out, the cane toad eats pretty much anything it can fit in its huge gob. Except the cane beatles. Won't touch them.

      😂😂 sounds about right 🐸
Are those the toads that are toxic? How’s that going?

@APHOUTpodcast yeah, they're stupidly toxic, and remain so well after death. So, can't even bait them because then some poor animal comes along for a free feed and gets poisoned by whatever bait and also the can toad venom. They were isolated for a long time in Queensland, but they're being found down south in New South Wales further and further.

You say you like naval disasters and cannibalism but I don't see shit on here about Moby Dick how the hell can you not. !!!!! It's got everything shipwrecks attacking whales cannibalism and it's true which blows my fucking mind. Far better than the Donner party I am obsessed. I even want to go to Nantucket just because I'm super nerdy. If you use this story please give me a shout out... I have lots of great ideas My friends want me to make a channel or do podcasting but honestly I don't think I could take it people are mean. I love the channel though I love everything related to Horrible dark history. It's what makes history fun. And there's so much of it out there nothing is safe not even your cereal Just look at Kellogg It's all just so dark😅

Excellent idea! I have to parcel out my shipwreck/cannibalism stories because there are so many!! But it's definitely in my schedule :)
