GLAD TO HEAR IT! We lived there for four years and I will never forget the inspector knocking on our door to tell us to get our babies blood tested because another child had tested positive. They are impossible slumlords and horrible people and they should pay MORE so they actually feel the pain instead of paying a small fine.

The one thing that bothers me is the landlords cry foul if a tenant does their own repairs and it's taken from the rent..... I wonder if it's alright to call them thieves because they collect the rent, but doesn't make the necessary repairs to their buildings......
Wasn't that lead dangerous because children would eat it? what l saw on the wall looks like leaks,mold.
I need repairs done in my apartment, but the landlord doesn't want to make the necessary repairs.... What's patchwork good for antway?????

U need lawyer to write a certified letter to prove u did ur part and everything. U obviously need to pay out of pocket for thousands of dollars just to get the lawyer to write the letter for u. U cannot write it yourself because city don't believe shit u said. Lawyer with good standing license and good deed is what the city believes the most

40y ago everyone live like that now is big deal sound like someone smell easy money and attack owner and this is reality. If you don’t like find different apartment and pay 4/5k per month not 1400 buck and complain. You get what you pay for.
Unfortunately a lot more people died early, hard respiratory issues, cancer, birth and brain developmental defects, which may or may not have been related to lead paint.
nope, nope - they charge $5K for this apartment unless you're a generational tenant, so this is not at all true.
