I am not going to give a shit anymore until someone gets close to my time.
Considering I've been doing this for quite some time and freaking SkyCrash claiming he has "World Record" when he is slower than a non-Tool-Assisted longplay this was kinda forced upon.
I was deliberately slide spinning instead of using my running shoes. I know the time differences between using and not using running shoes but no one is going to chase my time.
Obviously... Yes, it's possible to beat this time.

I know this video is very old but this had to be one of your favorite games because of the way you're playing it I've never seen anyone go through a level moving so fast 😧 You see when My generation was growing up we didn't have game consoles and video games we played street hockey -- wire Ball whatever for fun now I'm 64 and I get all my sons Hand me downs witch I don't mind , I have just about every game console that's been out even the original Nintendo -- even one called intelvion I got them all but my favorite The DS that plays two different tapes love it👍🤟✌️🙉

Very good run, was looking for a speedrun of this game, so thank you very much for uploading :). I have to admit I was on the verge of skipping through the flight levels, I really hated those as a kid...
Was wondering if you experienced the few occurences of lag throughout the run when playing, or if that only was noticeable on the recording?

did you skip the 100% ending cutscene or is there none? after finishing this game by beating neo cortex and without all the other relics (it was at 47%), uka told in the ending screen to get back and get all the relics with my new powers.
and if you get all the relics you really get no special credit scene?

It's the same as the normal ending just the difference is that Dingodile, N.Gin, Tiny and Cortex are all crammed in a shuttle with a "The End?" I skipped it.

That slowdowns must have been annoying. Can't imagine how good time you would have gotten if you had 100% emulation speed all the time.

while moving you slide and spin...it looks like the spin slows you down... wouldn't it faster just to slide repeatedly instead of spin?

At the end of slide you lose some speed. That's why he spins after each slide to maintain normal walking speed.

2014. Shit system to record and run the game... Also VBA is a shit emulator which will inaccurately do slowdown/lag.
