When I found out I'd played a game against Coconut, I knew he was trying a sinister build out. Didn't think I would make it into a youtube video, though, even if it was for a little bit. Feels very Mike Wazowski "I'm on the cover of a magazine" moment. Keep up the great work!
Coco!! Heres one that is absolutely annoying for the survivors for pig Hex: Lullaby, face the darkness, undying, the perk that makes survivors scream while in your terror radius after you knock one of them. Addons are the Uncommon wire addon and common wire addon that makes them take damage in a box for missed skillchecks, stacks to the deep wound phase and puts them on a mend timer too. Just get 2 traps and protect your totems, after stacking lullaby, free head pops
You can also just Camp the [ threal of hunt ] Totem when you put the beertrap and the Fast the darkness Totem is active . that way they can't Cleanse both Totems in time and the survivor would die on the beertrapp .
Maybe Pentimento to restore thrill tokens and slow down healing instead of forced penance? Still, quite an evil build and glad to see you experimenting!
For Nancy's defence. If a pig camps her boxes I also give up/stick to gens till I die. Had a big camping pig on RPD recently. She had 2 boxes in the same room and another 2 next to it with both add-ons to increase the search time. There was no point in even trying to get the box off
Have to say I’m enjoying this format a lot. Helps to follow an idea you’re executing and has a simple and easy to follow narrative. Fantastic video, Coconuts. Love your content
His videos editing is becoming more like DBD documentary which is unique and i love it, cant skip a second of the video it just attracts you. This will defo help Coco grow, lets share Cocos videos ladies and gents
I'd use plaything: > Oblivious counts as not being within your terror radius so they will always scream. > Makes survivors more cautious and slower to approach boxes. > Could potentially distract a survivor as they may feel the need to cleanse the totem before getting their trap off
Add on to make them blind when wearing a trap, add on to cause deep wound when failing a skill check, third seal, devour hope, fearmonger and discordance. I call it the “frantic searching” build. Also when chasing survivor off trap don’t go out of stealth mode because it pauses the timer just give them a roar and they generally jump off of it then just keep pressuring other survivors.
CoconutRTS, this build should definitely be revisited... I tried it out with Hex:FtD, Hex:Undying, Ultimate Weapon, and either Forced Penance or Sloppy Butch, and it's beyond mean... You can trap 3 people at a time. Leave the FtD carrier untrapped, and with the constant sources of screaming, you can pressure people on all boxes and totems without even having to be there..
The reason it worked so well with pinhead is the natural passive interruption the chain give. You’d have to find a way to get that same passive interruption.
I had decent success with this build by running face the darkness, thrill of the hunt, Hex: plaything and sloppy butcher From my experience, hex plaything massively helps, since you can keep people oblivious to your terror radius at (roughly) all times, while still having your normal mobility, which helps put traps on multiple survivors. Also, ive found that sometimes downing the survivors while they're searching a box and taking them to a far away hook also helps massively, since they'll waste even more time running back, and even if they do get it off, thats another free hook for you
I had someone use a similar build against me a few days ago, maybe they were inspired by your video but the moment I was searching boxes and realized what was going on I was like "god damn that is clever as hell". I think we ended up with a 3 man escape and I managed to pull off two of her head traps since I was the face the darkness target more often than not, but it was super fun to go against. I think one of the issues you ran into in the video was that your plan's tell was too choreographed to the survivors, and you would've had a better time pulling it off had you feigned regular gameplay. The pig I went up against who did this still played normally for the most part, the build simply meant she didn't have to patrol the boxes and instead just patrol her hexes. Theorycrafting builds is pretty dang fun and I love being on both sides of it, love your mini stories on discovering things.
I swear your narrations are the most dramatic things I’ve ever heard lmao. If I had no idea you were sitting in your chair playing video games, I would have thought you were doing a backpacking survival trip through the Amazon rainforest with your feet tied together.
Here's a good build: Hex: Face The Darkness Lethal Pursuer Mad Grit Deathbound Here's the strategy: It's based around always having something to do, and ignoring survivor progress for pure lethality by raising your APM to outpace all 4 survivors at once. When the game starts, chase the nearest player with stealth and try to get the first hit in early to make the chase short. You want this first survivor to have an RBT applied. Down and hook the survivor, and go hunt for another. The survivor should be unhooked slightly before or by the time you start a chase. Hit the survivor and perform some hit and run, and if you can, find the survivor with an RBT attached and hook them again. While they're on deathhook, ignore them completely, Face The Darkness should give you some slowdown on their bear trap progress. The survivor has either 2 options from this point: Die to the trap, or remove it. If they are killed, you get value. However, they may remove it, and here's something you'll need to keep track of: Look at the location of boxes around the match, and try to logistically eliminate how many boxes were completed depending on how close to hooks they were and how long the survivor took to remove the trap. If it took a VERY long time, the survivor must have hit the last box they would logically visit, so run over to that box when the survivor removes the RBT. If it was immediately after unhook, go to the box that is closest to the hook and try to hunt down the survivor for a kill. The survivor would have been distracted for a very long time, and you would have gotten possibly at least around 5 hook states and a kill before EGC.
I actually play a lot of pig and her natural slow down allows for some fun perk combos. I run knock out, hex play thing, hex third seal, and fear mongorer. These along w her add on that makes box oras invisible until there trap is active and whatever other add on (you can use a blindness add on to add to the effect of the build if you want but I use the one that makes boxes longer to search since you have no gen regression) make for pretty fun and actually pretty effective killing. U really don’t have ti worry too much abt ur build and it does it’s thing.
Quite frankly, DCing and waiting 5 minutes is probably preferable to dealing with a game that will last forever and will inevitably end in hatch or the last guy giving up and going afk until the EGC ends or the Killer kills him. The build is funny as long as you don't go against it, I honestly don't think the game could be fun for either side unless the Killer is just sadistic. Nothing gets done and even the Killer must toy around in order for the build to be relevant. Survivors can't get traps off and can't cleanse fast enough, as soon as a gen is done it means a death if someone was trapped, it's boring and going afk to go eat or play/watch something else until the Killer kills everyone or the server's 1 hour timer runs out sounds honestly less annoying. It's funny as content, but I pity the randoms who had to endure that. Side note: DCing when the build gets invalidated early, wasting items and add-ons of other players in the process, is just petty (because yes, if Killer DC there is like a 50/50 chance of Survivors losing their items/add-ons even if they were still alive).
Baby killers be seeing your videos Coconut. I went against a pinhead who tried this and they damn near lost if it weren't for 2 survivors who refused to accept they could not heal. We had him down to 1 gen and if they would have persisted it would have been in and out.
Here's a surprisingly evil pig build: huntress lullaby, undying, and the two add-ons that make failing a skill check on a box so something. The first add-on injures healthy survivors and makes the skill checks smaller, the second puts anyone who fails a skill check while injured into deep wound, which you have to take care of before searching*. I say it's surprisingly evil, because obviously it destroys any new players who can't deal with huntress lullaby, but the last time I ran this build, I went against a team that was pretty good, I was getting juiced over all, no one was missing any skill checks, and then someone cleansed lullaby, and the two people who were trying to get their boxes off immediately failed a few skill checks, and then they continued failing skill checks * You bleed out in 20 seconds a search takes 12 seconds, you could finish the one you're already searching and maybe search another, but you need to never walk, and not fail any other skill checks, and most people aren't too comfortable standing still for a long time in deep wound
0:13 "where i could effectivelly prevent survivors from doing my box" but that fun fact that if survivors are not idiots they wont care about your box after they see what are you doing and just will do gens, two allies will protect others two who repair everything and gg. So that build was basically a no use not working fun build, which worked only once, maybe twice.
What if you did this but forced more on end game? Try putting traps on the last 2 or 1 gens, bring the add-on that makes it so they can’t see the boxes until a gen pops, plus less time on the traps. At the start play normal where you just hook survivors so it keeps deactivating Darkness stopping them from being able to cleanse it meaning you will only need undying for Thrill. This way they will be less likely to cleanse Darkness making it give you real value at the end where you can force the broken affect which you can do by hitting someone on a gen that together with someone else (this also for some reason count as a protective hit) meaning you don’t need to waste time around hooks and instead protect Thrill or get another survivor down. Only thing is I would also add a map offering for a big map putting boxes more far apart but would also try to get them to 3 gen themselves making it easier to get your traps on at the end. The other thing I was thinking is bring Hallowed Ground instead of the broken affect one as this would scare the survivors into not touching hex totems?
Everyone is playing around the addon that takes away 10s every time a gen is complete. That's what makes the head traps such good gen delay. They just assume that's the one you take. My favorites are the injury and deep wounds when you mess up a box
I would replace Forced Pennants for Infectious Fright. That way, you can go around defending the totems and the boxes with the screams from downing survivors, or/and pushing them off with your presence.
Knight + call of brine+overcharge+eruption+nowhere to hide kick a gen, drop a guard to make sure it regreses to nothing. prioritise patrolling a tight 3-4 gen setup, ignore survivors who try to lead you away. the game will last ages and survivors will run out of resources. so far i havent gotten any exit gate escapes with this build
I think the failure rate went up with Forced Penance because you focused so hard on using it instead of playing the match normally. At the very least if you chase people around the hook area you'll likely get FP to trigger eventually and you'll keep the survs from figuring you out while also getting rid of pallets. You could also get a FP proc while hitting during carry
You need to add both her addons that increase the box search duration and then switch targets. They wont have enough time to search a box as long as ftd is active.
Maybe the Ambition is to Limited... Before the search Nerv you could get semi reliable headpops with pig. This build has the Potential to Bring it Back. The Scream Steaks time and gives Info. Thats enough in its own. If one could get for example two or three Traps on Survs at the Same time the Game would be staled to a crawl. Also survivors giving up is a good result. They are handing over the win for free.... Still a win in my book.
I tried it with: Face the Darkness, Undying, Beast of Prey (so I could chase without a TR), and Sloppy. Add on: VHS tape, Crate of Gears. Best result so far. 2 Head pops. 4K
As a calm spirit user, I used to hate going against Infectious Oni’s and Myers so I just never took that park off, so this combo perk won’t work against me :)
Face to darkness has to many points where it can fail. You need to keep the survivors wounded. And if they find the totem, the survivors can shutdown your whole plan. I am pig main and prefer the perk from the alien. I dont know the english name of the perk. Nut it let the survivors scream, after you have opened a locker :) Combine that with other perks which let the survivors scream. And the amount of headpops will increase :-)
I love it, when we can't do the 50/50 rbt strat on pig anymore, when we can't have survivors come to OUR broken pig build anymore, let's bring the broken build to THEM.
This would work better if you replaced the tampered timer with the brown that puts them into deep wound because they would have to mend multiple times
It only does that if they miss a skill checko
@@scrapinator8898 Which they will if they scream while finding a key, or trying to heal
Oh that's even more evil i like
@@dicerson9976 not really the odds of a skill check being there before the scream happens is not very likely
That add on is hard to activate because of how easy survivors gets skill checks. That’s why I use to run Huntress’s lullaby.

As a calm spirit user, I used to hate going against Infectious Oni’s and Myers so I just never took that park off, so this combo perk won’t work against me :)
Said this before and I'll say it again, I love your latest style of video. Its original and entertaining as fuck, keep at it coconut :D
Damn this vid was good, but the background music was especially bangin'
the editing on this video was outstanding 🔥🔥
Listen. I've watched Hellraiser. Coconut acting like he gonna become the next Cenobite.
Use huntress lullaby instead of forced penance, then slap on the interlocking razor add-on and crate of gears
Very entertianing. This must have taken a good minute to edit.
Aye! About a weeks worth of editing; glad you liked it
Face to darkness has to many points where it can fail.
Dude when did your production quality go through the stratosphere. nice work
I love it, when we can't do the 50/50 rbt strat on pig anymore, when we can't have survivors come to OUR broken pig build anymore, let's bring the broken build to THEM.
i love your failed experiment, its so enterntaining
im not even playing dbd lmao
I love the way you tell your adventures :D Greetings from Switzerland
Unlike pinhead, this requires survivors to participate. Which they never do once the traps are on heads
This man is the Stevie of dbd
