- “I hated the brutality, the sadism, and the insanity of Nazism. I just couldn’t stand by and see people destroyed. I did what I could, what I had to do, what my conscience told me I must do. That’s all there is to it. Really, nothing more.”
- OSKAR SCHINDLER
Oscars Memories will live on, he saved so many Men Women and Children
And there children will live on and there’s as well. He was most likely a flawed man as most of us are but he did good. He was a good man.
Wat a guy simply the best
Each stone represents a life saved
i think the estimate was about 8500 in 2012...?
@@elijahcabacungan2915 Wow
1100 he saved from death and from them 6000 descendants today.
6000 around when the movie was made. Now I believe there are over 10,000 descendants because of his heroism.
Long live legend....love from india❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Rather mysterious why this man was chosen for such a great deed....
The guy upstairs works in mysterious ways. Schindler was one of those very few who let that spirit ignite a beautiful conflagration within his heart. He followed his conscience and did what he could. The generations of the Schindler Jews will forever be his legacy. His memory will stand for all time.
He found his humanity in those harsh times where everyone loses theirs.
@@christbenitez8797 It is also said that he did it merely for his financial interests. Anyway, the outcome was phenomenal.
he wasnt chosen, we all make our decisions ourselfs
@@wizarrdofooze Not totally. I have made some decisions in my life and I truly sensed that an invisible power oposed to them and I couldn't finish. We think that we are in control, we are not.
I remember one of the Schindler Jews said in an interview: "People said that Oskar Schindler was an opportunist, a scoundrel, a womanizer. I don't know about that. All I know is that I am alive today because of him."
One of the greatest human beings who have ever walked this planet
I will one day visit his grave, and I am sure I will have tears. I love him... ❤
I will come to meet you mr oskar once in my life

Don't take this the wrong way please, but I don't think he loved the Jews, he loved humanity.
I thought that too after what she said.
He loved money but he grew a conscience
He is a legend
For the ravens speak. 👍
Real Life Hero very different from Movies
I believe he was one of the only non Jewish Germans to be buried in Jerusalem who lived during the holocaust.
He wasn't German, he was from the then Czechoslovakia.
@Luton-Mick who became a citizen of Germany.
The only Nazi member
Some things you’re saying here isn’t correct.
He was a business man first and foremost. His original intentions wasn’t to save Jewish people. It was to make money during the war.
He didn’t start out making ammo in 1939. He started out making pots and pans to sell back to the nazi party and their families. He started making ammo during the end of the war around 44-45.
He didn’t bribe the nazis simply to save the Jews lives. He bribed them because the camp (krakow) was closing and he didn’t want to lose his workforce that he already knew and had trained and everything. So instead he made a list of all his workers and families (hence the name Schindler’s list).
Damn dude, lighten up.
@@detectivemarkseven well if she’s going to spread info, at least make it the correct info.
We don't know the whole truth about his character.
But one thing is for sure his actions saved a lot of lives.
If he had despised the jewish folk as much as the other nazi members he surely treated his workers much worse.
@@nanevakhe didn’t dispise them nor did he like them. They were simply bodies making money for him. He knew that if he were to keep them fed and healthy that they can produce more pots and pans hence more money for him. But while he was in krakow he never should any sympathy or remorse for them. Actually he couldn’t because if that happened then the nazis would’ve shut down his business. That’s why he gets really mad at Stern in his office. Because he’s scared that the nazis would think he’s showing compassion.
@@josh24441 so you are fact checker 😂😂
