a friend of mine used to fly german tralls in humanitarian missions. On one flight back they realized there is a lot of spilled rice in the loading bay everywhere... so the bord tech came up with the idea to open a small access hatch in the top of the fuselage and route a hose out there in flight... they would grab the other end and use it like a vacuum cleaner. That worked great and they where super chuffed about it. When they landed they got called in to the comander and they thought they might get a medal for their great job in helping people. However this dude was mad and yelled at them what the hell they have done to the airplane and they where totaly puzzled... when they looked out the window they realized the Transall had NO PAINT LEFT on the side of the rudder because they basically sand blasted the whole thing :D I thought that was hillarious
Very interesting video I assume is using the new su14 atmosphere? Not a plane I’m personally interested in but I must admit it looks very comprehensive now after development. Credit to the devs for keeping at it and delivering impressive plane. The lighting options and there effect on the cabin lighting is very good Gratz to developers on this. Thx for video as always
Just picked this up today. It's really very good. The simulation seems pretty in depth, almost could say it's approaching study level. Unique too as there aren't any planes like it in MSFS.
It would surely be interesting to hear an actual Transall pilots take on the systems. It's always rather hard to judge a plane that I basically have no idea about in the real world direct in the sim.
Fantastic video, I really like the Transall 160 and it is a plesure to watch a video made by a pro. I follow 4 real pilots on youtube and you are one of them. You alwayes knows what you are talking about regarding flying in contrast to a lot of well meaning amateurs that uploads videos but does not have much knowledge about real flying. Looking forward to the next video
c'est une pur merveille, pour un avion de 50 ans il vole superbement bien et très jolie à regarder voler, je me suis lancé le défi de faire le tour du globe avec le transall, je suis actuellement a l'heur ou j'écris en direction de Honolulu un aérodrome militaire et je suis partie de Paris (Roissy Charles de Gaule) en passant par le pole nord, Etat Unis cote Est a cote Ouest ect... sa fait quelque heurs de voles hihi..! Bonne route a tousses it is a pure marvel, for a 50 year old plane it flies superbly well and very pretty to watch flying, I set myself the challenge of going around the globe with the transall, I am currently at the point where I write in the direction of Honolulu a military airfield and I left Paris (Roissy Charles de Gaule) via the North Pole, the East coast of the United States to the West coast ect... it's been a few hours of flight hehe..! A nice journey to all of you
Hi, I have bought Azurpoly C160 yesterday from Sim Maker but it does'nt work. I can't figure out what the problem is. The on-board tablet does not turn on. The APU switch button cannot be used, the systems cannot be started. It's like a demo version. Please help me out because I like to use this program. Maybe the registration key is missing ? I have not received any. I wonder why is it not working. It was to expensive if it 's a demo version. Please give us technical advise. Many Thanks in advance
Great video on a great aircraft, I'm happy you cover it again after it received some updates. I had almost the same sunset view on my 10h flight from Hohn to Dubai, only that I flew in the other direction 😂 I can tell you the desert looks amazing by night and I noticed for the first time MSFS has an actual working nightsky you could use for celestial navigation (something I still have to learn 😅) Something you might find interesting: on the side of the right horn of the yoke is a little switch for the FD, having that pink cross helps a bit to predict what the AP will do when you initialy turn it on 🤔😁
Great timing Emmanuel, Flew this last night and could NOT figure out where the panel lights were, even after reading the manual. Had to guess my speed but you showed it here. Thank you.
This version seems to have a CG issue introfuced with this update. Devs are on it. That's why you had to trim it a lot and why the AP seemq to truggle at times. I skip this version until this is resolved since I fly with OnAir manager add on with lot of cargo weight operatin to and from grass/sand strips.

Some airports only have a 3 digit code. I tried inserting a blank before and after but the FMC won’t accept it
Only small US strips though right? I’m not aware of any “larger” airport which would only have three digits.

TACAN maybe? Similar to VORs, they’re in fact pretty much just military VOR/DMEs.
