sodium chloride crystals wont explode. sodium crystals would, but when you make table salt its harmless in the sense of combustibility.
They actually can explode, they just won’t do it out of nowhere. Once exposed to friction, or heat, there is a chance they can “detonate”. It won’t blow up a house though 😂

I remember when I was 6 trading snap bracelets with kids and yeah the sharp metal really hurts I pretty much never wear them anymore except for special occasions ( the plastic inside still hurts like crazy!)

I got one of those flying doll things for Christmas when I was about 8-10 years old. I started flying it around and it flew DIRECTLY at my HEAD and got stuck in my HAIR! It took so long to get it out and after we finally got it out of my hair, there was a HUGE clump of my hair stuck in it.
