There ain't no shame in getting a motel room from time to time. I've found it really helps to prevent burn out and to decompress from the constant overstimulation of van dwelling. Your hair looks so dope! Pink really is ur color.
Here I am. This is the day the Lord has made. What a beautiful adventure ❤️. I'm surprised that Lil Joey didn't bark at the donkeys. Look at his little self. Swimming like a champ.
OMG! That was my home for 3 months last year! 🥰 I love that campground! The donkeys will actually come up and eat out of your hands. 💕 I was in the campsite all the way to the right. It was awesome! 😎
You did a good job dying your hair! Sometimes it is good to take a break and spend the night at a hotel. Loved seeing Little Joey swimming. Happy belated birthday to your friend Sarah!
I made a video from that same 5.00 campground last winter. What a special find that place is. I loved watching the wild burros take the regular evening walk to the river. You do have to watch out for all the burro poop though lol. This campground is nice and close to town and well kept and everyone was super friendly there. This campground is a great starting off point too if you visit the desert bar in Parker (highly recommend this place if you have a high clearance vehicle), such a cool and unique place
Chantelle, it was so wonderful meeting you and Pumpkin Head so many years ago now... I've fallen away from the community but am finally on the road again. Thank you for the videos that keep my dreams alive.
*Newly Updated Safety Suggestions: for RV lifers, Campers, Hikers, Explorers, Nomadic Life, and Travelers* I just happened to see your channel, and others similar channels recently, and I think that you, and others sharing their actual reality, and some have expressed some of the up, and down sides to van, RV, or vehicle living. Although, I just noticed your RUclips channel, and other similar channels, displaying van living. I just wanted to remind everyone to Aware Be of your surroundings and Alert, I just posted this anyway to help anyone who may benefit from these suggestions I believe that it is very helpful, and beneficial to others who may be thinking about this type of living without actually thinking through, about the some of the realistic problems that could occur with vehicle or van living etc... People need to know what the up sides there are, as well as some of the down sides of vehicle living. I believe this channel, and other channels have been informative to others, including myself. Consider theses items: *Mini portable power charging station. I have also seen outdoor portable solar powered power stations, that can be recharged from sunlight this may be very useful to have, to power your devices. *Invest in a Cellular signal booster for outdoor use, and camping situations to boost or amplify your cell signal and reception. Consider also the purchase of a WiFi signal booster to also boost your WiFi signal. There are various types of these devices, and including devices that can be used when boating, or camping situations. *Some have emergency Strobe lights SOS signaling with location alerts, and location updates that can be sent to your family, and emergency first responders. Some can be synchronized with your smart watch or phone. It’s so nice you have travel camping buddies. It’s good for companionship and you guys can look out for each other. You seem happier these days which is always a blessing.
That looks amazing. I’ll have to add to my list. I have an inflatable kayak in my camper van, that gorgeous river made me want to go kayaking! Still too cold here but spring/summer is coming! 😍

I just love when I bring up RUclips and there you are in all your pink glory. So fun to watch your adventures AND hair coloring. Keep the coffee stirring 😍
Great views and donkeys. Joey certainly loves the water. Looks like a fun time with your friends. Doing you own hair in a motel is certainly worth the price plus you get your hair like you want it. Great job!
Beautiful!! The Hair ROCKS!!! What a great time !!TY and a big Happy Birthday to Sarah .. Hey Joey !! 👋🏽🤗 Happy & Safe Travels see you soon ! 🥰💕💕✌️😎🌻🌻🌻
I stayed in that very hotel in December after a couple of really cold nights of camping..... It was a decent price and made life a little better during an unusual cold snap. I do love van life, but a hotel every once in a while is nice.

Your hair looks great! well done. And I'm so glad you went to the Crossroads Campground. I passed by it a few weeks ago wondering about it, so it was nice to see the lay of the land in your video!
Hi there!! We've stayed at Crossroads campground multiple times driving from California to Arizona! It's a nice spot and seeing those donkeys is fun! Everywhere around Havasu is better than Quartzsite for sure 👍
What a great campground! I remember you being somewhere else that had free range donkeys. They walked right up to your van on the road, and Joey didn't bark at them. He is an amazing little guy,
Love ur channel..amazing clips of ur trip & Joey in the river.. thank for staying strong with all u do.. love having coffee while watching ur blogs..XOXO..save travels
Ur in my exact spot 5 weeks ago I was in that spot for 2 nights. I have a beautiful pic of that green alien on the rock lol. Go to the beginning of the road those wild burros are everywhere.
So enjoy you and Joey brightening mySunday morning. You are about the age of my daughter and i will request of you, just like i would with her..Please come to a full stop at STOP signs..no offense, just a dad thing!
Hi, Chantelle and Joey! When you tell us it's a beautiful day, could you sometimes say what the temperature is? We can see the date on RUclips, but knowing the temperature would help those of us who aren't out there yet. How do you help Joey avoid the bad things like scorpions and snakes and things? Is the water safe for him to get into and even drink? I have a little dog, too, and I'm worried a little.
hi great vid! what type of snakes are there in that area? (I saw the sign), any precautions you as a camper need to take for you or joeys safety? Do you email the campground to pay or just show up?
🙋🏽♀️Beautiful and Hiiiiiiii sweet Joey 🤗🦴I’m really enjoying the videos you’ve been putting out Darling Soooooo much fun and beautiful sites 💓. Please tell Sara I just subscribed to there channel and because of you I was telling peo about her work you showed on your video 🫶🏽
hi! i do the same, i stay in a hotel at least once a month if i am able. question, are you using Lime Crime hair dye? does it last? I want to dye my hair but my hair sometimes doesn’t take hair dye easily. Thank you for sharing!
OMG, I drove the road from Havasu to Parker and back daily for 8 years! I am going to check out that campground - is it on the California side? Also was it buggy?
Hi, awesome video. I was just wondering where were you camping at? Where was it located? We are going to start full-time in November and we are trying to locate awesome spots like this. Have a great day. I love your videos.
Happy Birthday Sarah! 🎉 I am going back to awesome possum van works in Graham Texas March 11 to hopefully diagnose and repair my wiring issues on my wheelchair 2010 dodge grand caravan n I am still trying to figure out the Unschooling system that Texas, has because I have custody of my eight-year-old grandson before I can hit the road. I am still shooting for Arizona in January 2024. I would love to meet you Chantelle and Joey. 😁🐾🚐👍🏻❤️
Thank you for making my birthday so special! You have made me a more open, thoughtful and friendly traveler. Can’t wait to meet up again! ❤

Great spot! Chantelle you get the best spots. Hi Joey❤️
Exactly, the same when you’re in a foundation based house, it’s good to get away for a little change to routine. Happier, this year birthday Sara(h).

Great video 🐾🐾🐾
Your hair looks beautiful!
What is the name of that beautiful place please. Such a happy lucky Joey
Beautiful
Great Vid!
The donkeys were a big surprise. Did you find out anything else about them being in that area?
Very nice
hi great vid! what type of snakes are there in that area? (I saw the sign), any precautions you as a camper need to take for you or joeys safety? Do you email the campground to pay or just show up?

OMG, I drove the road from Havasu to Parker and back daily for 8 years! I am going to check out that campground - is it on the California side? Also was it buggy?
I was wondering where you'd been. I haven't seen you on my suggestions lately
Hi, awesome video. I was just wondering where were you camping at? Where was it located? We are going to start full-time in November and we are trying to locate awesome spots like this. Have a great day. I love your videos.
You are just 3.5 hours from me! If you head to Vegas, I would love to meet you in person.
Do you use a special GPS you recommend?
What was that in the dark by your van I didn’t understand. Animal or people? Ty
It was wild burros! Or donkeys!
