First French special forces don't patrol on the french teritory(it's official), second the 1er RPIMa are way better trained compared to the green berets, their formation lasts 2 years after selection before they start operating(the green berets formation lasts 1 year, they are more secretive, they never ever show their faces in videos or picture, they do not even use the famas during missions(in ops they use any commando gun of their choice),in fact this regiment is the french equivalent of the us delta force(because the delta force formation lasts about two year after selection) ;) the guys with the red beret are from the 3rd or 8th RPIMa, their the ones tasked with the mission sentinelle(patroling the national territory) with other guy. the 3rd and 8th RPIMa do not belong to the french socom.
