Song & Rants #21 | Mooning and seeing people w/ cover "Glorybound"

Did your dad ever moon any of your friends growing up? Mine did.
He also did some unbelievably, beautifully powerful, life-changing things that will forever impact hundreds of us. So, to celebrate what would be my dad's 74th birthday, this rant takes place on the grounds of where we buried his ashes and I bring up the question of "What is the most important thing that your dad taught you".
I share a couple of fun stories of how beautifully unpredictable he was along with how vulnerable and unconditionally he loved and saw people. Have you ever really been SEEN by someone? You know when someone really just KNOWS who you are and you can feel safe? THAT. Being seen. This is what my dad (Henk Boesten) taught me. He modelled this for me and saw hundreds (if not thousands) of people throughout his lifetime.
Glorybound is a Martin Sexton cover which is a tune that he loved and would crank on his system at home. Rest well old man... I'm proud of you.

Oh my…this song!!! Laughing as well because my dad was unpredictable too. I remember he caught me altering my brand new driver’s license so I could get into the bars at SIXTEEN! Instead of getting mad at me he took my license down to his workroom and helped me do it properly with matching letters from his graphics set and helped me laminate it.
He said: Well if you’re going to do it, at least do a good enough job you don’t get caught! 😂
