This is how shooters get more recognition, by tying them to the FGC, but Daigo can't do it alone, we need the western FGC to step up and remind everyone that Shooters and fighting games are cut from the same cloth, that shooters belong at EVO as a sister event. It's just so obvious, I've been ranting about this in my head for years now, then all of a sudden I see Daigo promoting his event?! MInd blown, just a shame I didn't hear about this a year ago.

Close fought duel. Would have been interesting to knowing if both players knew each other scoring runs per stage but I doubt it with the stream. Fufufu definitely has the edge in aggressive dodging entertainment factor where as SPS was more clinical. Hope there is more of this sort of thing to come in 2022.

Watched it again and just incredible how clutch it is, especially concidering how a tiny misstake can completly ruin a run in this game. Also you guys did a great job on the commentary! :)
Awesome gameplay skills. Cave really are the masters of bullet hell Shmups and Dodonpachi has always been my favourite. It never gets old, and feels perfect to play with some great gameplay mechanics. Shmups seems like a relic from the past that few people seem interested in. Their attitude is why pay $50 for a 30-45m game. That's missing the whole point though. Long live Shmups.
I was thinking here a crazy ideia, imagine if they make some kind of mode similar to this, like a duel or something, not split screen, but something similar to Super Mario Bros. 35 on the nintendo switch which you can see other players progress somehow to compete against each other, maybe that can work lol
Have you seen Icaruses guides like his battle garegga guide? Can you make a step by step video that demonstrates his techniques so the guide is more understandable? Like I have a hard time following along without video clips showing the techniques in the background during someone explaining whats going on, I think it'd be pretty valuable for us shmupers to have the world record techniques presented the correct way, and I'm sure you can do it Mark!

Is second loop possible in 2 player mode? My friend and I made many attempts to get to second loop but no luck :(
I think you have to enter it as one player then start the credit with 2 players
