Your content literally help us becoming better individuals. I can't think of a better way to make a difference in todays world where the internet has become a source of so much destruction and time waste, but equally a place where great minds and wonderful content can be shared and fostered. Thank you man!
Each principle unveils a path to freedom, like secrets of an ancient art. Letting go of regrets, jealousy, and attachments; embracing truth over comfort. A disciplined mind dances with life's ebb and flow, guided not by fleeting emotions, but by the wisdom within. Thank you for the video! 💜
This is one of the RUclips channels that are definitely in my top 10 sources of learning self-improvement. Im very grateful that this content is free and accessible by everyone on the internet.
Thank you for this video! Had a rough day mentally yesterday and this video really helped me realize in what ways I needed to change my perspective on my situation. I am too jealous and too competitive and don't allow myself to form strong connections with other people because I get in the way of truly getting to know others. I'm also too lustful and self-centered and it makes me try to "get" things from others instead of just having genuine moments with others. But I have to also practice self-love and compassion. It takes time to change and it is gradual. But by being aware and trying to change our behavior, we are all inevitably going to change in the long run. :)
To be saddened by separation is unnatural? This is the kind of thing that made me leave Buddhism. It's completely natural to feel sad when a loved one dies. In fact, you MUST face it and deal with the sadness.
Saddened for someone/thing you love is natural, love is NOT attachment, it is natural to feel sad about it, buddhism doesn't prohibits the rise of emotion for loss/separation of someone/thing you loved, sadness makes you to choose your path, learn to let go and remember(if you have times)the moment with the lost, or to dwell with the lost and suffer internally and degrade yourself while letting the lost watches you, ask yourself if lost likes what you're doing. Im new to buddhism and constantly checking for the teachings and learning from buddha, and pardon may english
Recommend the manga Vagabond, is a fictional tale on the man’s life based on the principles of his texts. Also it is one of the most artistic mangas yet (think Kentaro Miura’s Berserk, but with brushes)
Great video but I disagree with one of the principles of Miyamoto Musashi. He said that we should never feel sad because of a separation, but I personally think that is unrealistic and unnatural. I think everyone, including animals, feel sad when they lose someone they love or care about. It's normal and natural to feel sorrow and grief, and it is part of the healing process. I think there is a difference between grieving and suffering. Grieving is feeling the pain of loss and letting it go, while suffering is trying to avoid the pain or denying the reality. Musashi was a great warrior and philosopher, but I don't think this principle applies to everyone.
How to become invincible? Just remember those principles and apply them in your everyday! It may sound easy but it's not though... Feelings are constantly guiding us subconsciously and managing them through self-awareness can be one of the hardest things in life. And it's definitely a process, not a destination!
The 8th principle is nonsense. Why should grieve and sadness be "unnatural"? Its human and if you dont feel those things when you lost something precious to you, then what are you? A self-discipline-robot? The 10th much needed in our time.
Some people should have more grieve and other less. Like lazy people should work more and workholics should work less. Just take what helps you, we are all different.
@@jkcookie8841 I'm not talking about the right measure but about the personality of the person. If for you not a problem feel very sad after you lose something like a big quantity of money, you don't need follow this principle. I need make an effort to follow it because I get depressive and less productive for a long time. And I can't follow it totally, so I will never be like a robot.
Hi, i have this dilemma about musashi's 9th principle, is this depends on the situation? Or accepting as it is? Because i kinda have this thought, do people just have to accept that their government truly sucks and just accept what it is? It is kinda sad, pls someone enlighten me
Its a dark circus. You have to find Elohim and do the work to actualize Elohims grace. Everyone taking drugs and psychedelics to amplify or mitigate the human experience (whether attempt is for bliss or wisdom) when really no one wants to do the real, grounding work. Discipline. Untying the knots. The narrow path
Imagine the self discipline you would need to have walking to Calvary, being slaughtered and hung on a cross to bleed to death, while you’re praying for and asking god to forgive the people who are killing you… maybe you should make a post about Christ… ;)
So what’s the alternative? Is the rent and food free? These guys probably go to some vacations from time to time and spent rest of their salaries on their hobbies. Is that nothing? I don’t get this guy.

He may not have realised, but Miyamoto was a true Stoic.

@@nunonuno6224I was refering to the 8th principle in the video. Read it or watch it again. It has nothing to do with the right measure. It says NEVER

I won't say it to his face but Musashi was kind of an asshole if know about him.
