Tackett is deceptive. I thought I would be a lot bigger than him, but when I got the opportunity to roll I realized he carries a lot more mass and is taller than he looks. Also, he’s ridiculously slick with his techniques.
I can only imagine how good the Tackett's must feel right now, that's a really cool moment. I watch B-team's channel so it was cool to see Jay Rod do well. Maybe he still gets an invite, maybe not. Either way, dude is going to be a high level competitor for a while. Right now the Tackett brothers have the vibe, but things are changing so quickly with so many people getting into no-gi over the years, soon other people will crest their own wave. I like seeing which people remain great for a long time.
Crazy to just cut from Tackett about to end up on top against Cruz, to being on his back with a body triangle. How can you be editing this and think, yeah let’s leave out the part where literally anything happened
The hand over hand application on that toe-hold was something to see. Props to Jay-rod on Sliver and Willam on his Gold.
yeah that was brutal, great technique
Abe lock.
Crazy toe hold. Never seen that before
Thank you for capturing the moment! 🔥🔥🔥😃
What an insane performance man. Congrats on Gold. Cant wait to see you and Andrew at ADCC. That toehold was KILLER
Tackett, Jrod, and Cruz looked like they were a division higher than the rest with their size and strength. Great matchups.

Jay was 85kg btw
Yeah, J Rod was supposed to compete in the lower 77kg division but he went over it and he was saying he is underweight for the 88

Tackett Bros are legit
The very fist clip shown, what is that take down called?? Looked like he was going for a Russian tie up and ended up cranking on the opponents elbow
It’s called the Orlando Sanchez
It’s just a whizzer, with insane leverage.
