    I’ve just shared your video to assist people with the Covid-19 outbreak.
    My mum used to do this to me as a child to help my breathing, my partner was diagnosed with covid-19 and her breathing was bad, hardly breathing and with panic in her eyes. I remembered the treatment my mother gave me and performed it, I listed your video on Facebook so others can help people, hopefully it will save them.
    My girlfriend is thankful I knew what to do but others may not.

      Did your girlfriend go to the hospital?

    • @robhunter6939
      @robhunter6939 3 года назад +4

      @@annabanana5203 No, she was safer at home, if I took her in during the early times of them trying to understand how to manage it then she would have gone on a ventilator and probably be dead by now.

    The cupping is not for comfort. It is to create air pockets that break up the secretions.

      Hello! The reason I watched this video is because I have 1.5 yr old and I would like him to threw up the mucus, I heard it's possible. He's struggling with it for days. How did you make him/her stay calm, for how long did you manage to do this technique? He only lets me do it for a short time, during playing, he can't lay down still for 15-30min. Did you perform it exactly like in this video? Or did you tap it softer/more gentle? If you could answer my questions I would be very grateful. I'm happy for your baby 💪 thank you

    Always face the subject away from you. As an rn, i never have a person facing me when performing chest physio’s.
    Chest physios can cause vomitting. Aspiration, headache/dizziness, lung bleeds, blood clots, muscle cramps, and many other serious issues can develop as a result of chest physio so never ever do it unless it is prescribed by a physician and you are shown how to assess a person b4 during and after a chest physio.
    Never perform this if the person had eaten or drank anything up yo 30 min from the chest physio. Do not do it if subject is chewing gum or has anything in their mouth. Remove dentures and all that can be in the oral cavity.
    As you do this, continuously face the person away from you and assess their breathing/airway, oxygen saturation, color, cough and auscultate to assess progress.
    Chest physios are very helpful but they are also very dangerous especially if the subject is diabetic, hypertensive, has a bleeding disorder, suffers from copd, risk of blood clots, hemophelia, heart disease, frail bones/osteoporosis, etc...
    please do not do this unless you are shown by a healthcare professional first

    Swing downward with as much force as possible, use steel weight if necessary, every 30 seconds sneak in a kick to the chest with steel toe boots while wearing 7 pound ankle weights...this will guarantee anyone to never cough again...😅🤣😂😂
    Now that the joke is over, this procedure she is doing actually does work well, just make sure if they have breathing problems such as asthma, that it does not flare up, sometimes it can with shocks and vibrations to the lungs.
