Not COVID, not even threats of terrorism just a few hundred meters away at the Damascus Gate. We felt supernaturally protected that night knowing we were safely held in the hands of the Almighty (and with ten Israeli soldiers patrolling outside the Garden Tomb Gate!). I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where RUclips started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.

This song crushed my heart. As I listened, I saw a panoramic view of my life. I was taken from my mom when I was 7 years old by the courts of California. I was institutionalized for 10 years. I suffered many horrible things for those 10 years. Then when I was 18 Jesus revealed himself to me and I was saved. Im 70 years old now and have had a blessed life. Jesus helped me graduate from college, gave me two beautiful daughters,and 4 grandsons. Jesus was my mother, and my father, and my brother and my savior. I have lived in the goodness of God. He has been faithful.

When my daughter was born she was detected with hearing loss. We were worried that she would be completely deaf for the rest of her life (she isn't but we didnt' know at that time). This song was on my heart as a reminder that no matter what we would be able to face it because He lives.
Today is my son's birthday. He's been gone 11 long years. Have not heard his voice nor seen his handsome face nor touched him....

Praise the Lord, all the time! I'm now 26 years old, but suffer physically in many ways, for example heavy tinnitus and artrisis. But I know He lives and will resurrect our weak bodies the same way He was resurrected, to be with Him forever! Although life is hard sometimes, I know this earth as it is right now is not paradise, and He will give us a future far beyond our imagination, with completely new bodies and a whole new earth as His temple, because He lives and keeps his promises.
