Successfully Breed My Fancy Oranda Goldfish

i successfully breed my oranda goldfish until my heater got broken all most of my baby fish got electrocuted. but still happy got few baby fish survive..

I had the same issue with heaters.... They either break (spreading broken glass all over the aquarium) then i got another one and it electrocuted the whole tank. Never risk using heaters if the room temperature is stable (23 Celsius - 26 Celsius) is the safest for oranda. I have been very passionate about this hobby and i love it since 3 years but i didn't try breeding yet... But what would you advice me?

Your correct but its winter now . Well, if the male start chasing the female .. go ahead get a basin and start hand spawning them.. dont forget to put methylene blue 10 15 mins after the sperm and egg are mix.. to avoid fungus….

If they all ready swimming then yes.. feed them with brime shrimp or anything that available in your location❤️

Question: I notice after you use the male to spread the sperm, how come you didn't change all the water out? Because I heard the dead egg and old sperm will kill the eggs once left for a long time?

Yap you need to change the water or add some water..
