Nice! I’m scaling down from a BMW 1200GS and can’t decide what bike yet. 500X, MT450, Himalayan 452, or KTM 390???? I’m 75 and can’t lift the BMW anymore.
Lots of bikes to choose from these days. The BMW F450GS concept bike looks pretty sweet as well. I've been happy with both the CB500X and NX500 but you'll definitely notice the wind a lot more and might have to do some playing around with windshields and/or extensions to eliminate buffeting.
That is really nice i want one and the good thing is that you dont have to remove the hand hold ting back there so i might order one to my NX 500. Eivind from Norway! You know how many kilos it can hold?
@@eddale5557 I’d recommend keeping it under 20kg. The rack can hold more but I wouldn’t want to over stress the bike frame. If you watch my older video of the CB500X rack build I lift the back of the bike from the rack and also put my full weight on it. This new rack has essentially the same strength as the old one. P.S. I would love to visit Norway someday.
Looks awsome.
