Fozzy Gonzales, I agree with you 1000% brother, of course as a true Tejano, I valued, admired, respected, supported and total loved and embraced the totally Tejano sound and demeanor of the entire original HOMETOWN BOYS. They proudly represent and took our Tejano culture and beloved Tejano Music style to unprecedented top of the line levels. Today I do not listen to the so called promoted Tejano, because the music is too Mexican oriented with norteno music, and Mexican sounding promoters. Of course respectfully, this is my personal opinion, based on my proud, solid personal Tejano experience, not mejicano. It’s sad but true. The original Hometown Boys will always have a very special place in my true Tejas, Tejano Music collection.
