- There are many promises that Jesus has made to His followers. He will give them life, acceptance, reward, revelation, friendship with God, and joy. Furthermore, He also promised that they would experience trials. All these the church readily accepts and rejoices in. But there is one promise that is often ignored, ridiculed, and even mocked, and that is when Jesus says to His church, "I will come and receive you into Myself, so where I am you will be also." It's been 2000 years since Jesus uttered those words. Can we still really trust that promise? In his teaching, "The Promise", Amir Tsarfati reminds us that "He who promised is faithful." Jesus will undoubtedly come to rapture His church to be with Him always. He emphasizes, too, that if we want to experience the joy of that great promise, we must personally know the Promiser.

I personally take His Promises literally and await anxiously for Jesus to come and take the Church to our new Heavenly Home.
At 75 years old, I am sure there are numerous people who think I am like child-like minded in believing this Promise from Jesus at my age but isn't that the very mind set He told us to have? Simply Trusting In Him and His Word... like a child.
We NEED to pray for the salvation of sinners who do not know Jesus as their Savior, before it is too late... they do not realize time is running out for them. God is so very long-suffering and patient but He has an appointed time for the fulfillment of all of His Promises. Please join me in prayer for this sinful world.

Jesus will come exactly when He promised, because He keeps all His promises. He promised to resurrect His people within "The Last Day" (Jn 6:39,40,44,54), after the sun is darkened, the moon does not give its light, the stars fall from heaven, and the heavens are shaken (Mt 24:29). Daniel reports this day to be at least 1335 days after the daily sacrifices have been terminated (Dan 12:13), thus placing this day near the extreme end of Daniel's "Last 7 Years", thus, at least ~7 years yet future, thus, not "soon"....unless you consider ~7 years "soon".
Elsewhere we are informed that we will be given immortal bodies at "The Last Trumpet", which trumpet, Jesus reported will be heard on the same, "Last Day", after the sun and moon are darkened and the stars fall (Mt 24:29).
Read your Bible, lest you become deceived by seductive myths promoted by preachers and churches, who make a good living by promoting ear-tickling departures from Holy Scripture.

Read your Bible, so you won't be misled. Pastors don't save anybody, Salvation belongs entirely to God from beginning (Eph 1:4-5), to end, when the Resurrection and Rapture, during "The Last Day" (Jn 6:38,40,44,54) saves/delivers His Elect from the Wrath of God, just before "The End" (1Cor 15:23-24).

Jesus wants you to trust in Him and He will deliver through the tribulation. According to rapture theory believers go through tribulation called tribulation saints. God is a fair and patient person. It would not be fair to not save those who are only hearing of Christ for the first time but have been written in the Lambs book of life. God knows how to lead every believer down the path to becooming on the image of Christ , why would He not be patient a little longer and take them all at once. That's a simple thought. The real undeniable truth comes directly from Jesus teachings and his prayer.

Why would God put people through tribulations?? He certainly does and if you look hard enough you will see why.

@@jamiejennings2077 True, NO one yet knows the day. However, we have been commanded to watch, in order that we will know, at some point, and not be surprised or unprepared (Mt 25:10-13).
Jesus promised to come and resurrect His People, within "The Last Day" (Jn 6:39-40,44,54), after the sun and moon are darkened and the stars fall (Mt 24:29), and every eye will see Him coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (Mt 24:30), and the "Great Trumpet" (Mt 24:31), the last-ever trumpet" will be used to gather all His Elect from out of the extremes of heaven (the dead in Christ) and earth (those still living in Christ) (Mt 24:31, Mk 13:27).
While Daniel reports "The End of the Days" will be at least 1335 days after the daily sacrifices have been terminated, these sacrifices have not yet started in a temple not yet built. Thus, Christ's return, is still at least at least 7 years, yet future. Read your Bible, so you will know what signs to watch for, and not become deceived by false teachers or false prophets, working amazing, but deceiving, signs and wonders.

Our Lord will be coming back to the earth with us to judge the people of the earth. I pray there will not be that many earth dwellers left. Jesus will come exactly when He promised (Jn 6:39,40,44,54), and "The Last Trumpet" (1Cor 15:52) will sound exactly when He said it would (Mt 24:22-31).
