I love how as these chapters go on Midoriya is smiling less and less and Shigaraki begins to smile.
Yeah I love how midoriya wants to smile like all might, but really it’s totally fine that he can’t. Like damn his rose to hero hood is way more intense and difficult, like all might was able to reatreat from Japan to train his powers, but midoriya has to learn in the middle of everything, and against someone much stronger that all for one

its probly because of all might's mentor being able to fly as that was her quirk, float ( the woman, cant rember her name ) and he was able to unlock the power that was in the passing down part in the one for all. the one for all thing probly works like genetics. hear me out
if we have someone's parent who has blue eyes and marries and has kids with someone who has black eyes, its possible for the kids of the parents to have black but the kids' kids have blue
my theory is that this is the reason that he is able to tap into the power of fly (Float?) and not all might. all might might have bin able to unlock the power of the strength and was able to go into his hero form.
if you go back in the anime to the parts that show all might's training, you can see that all might is really scrawny and after getting into a a strainous situation and was able to unlock this part of the "tree of powers" (Somehow) and after the fight with all for one(?) he wasn't able to keep up that part of it and was only able to use it for short bursts like in the manga and anime and thats why he lost the ember to transform and lost "hero form".

And (this is just me thinking out loud here) maybe Uraraka gets really injured and then deku gets to a point where he’s just standing there shocked in disbelief, and then suddenly he starts saying, “you.......how dare you............... how Dare you.................” and Deku starts getting flashbacks of him and Uraraka. “ i won’t let you get away with this....... I WILL KIILLLLLL YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.” But that might be a bit much.

Definately not. This war is going to take up all of season 6. I fully expect Shigaraki to retreat and break AFO out of prison, as well as all the previous villains we saw earlier in year 1. I can see Shigaraki killing All Might as well, but Eri will rewind him and save his life, and all the heroes will fight Shigaraki at the same time. That will parallel how All Might fought for all of society. Society will now all fight for All Might. In the end, Eri will erase Shigaraki's quirk and he'll be forced to retreat. Year two will be a rise of villain factions with Shigaraki trying to find a way to reverse the quirk reversal to take his place on top. That's my theory though

Scottie Currie your theory makes no sense if you know horikoshi, eri won’t learn to control her quirk for at least 2 years and shiggy losing his quirk would go against everything horikoshi did to write shiggy’s character up until this point, literally the only part that makes sense is all mights death wich is mostly a reality at this point
@@dude.3518 It makes sense because Shigaraki needs to learn that hero society cannot be destroyed with sheer power alone, otherwise AFO would have done so long ago. He needs to learn what being a true villain really means, just like Deku needs to learn what being a true hero means. Shigaraki losing his quirk is the wakeup call he needs. Also Eri doesn't need to control her quirk, she simply needs to figure out how to activate it and Eraserhead can help with the rest since he cut off his own leg to save his quirk. Thats pretty much the way Horikoshi writes. He gives people limitations, and if they go too far beyond those limitations they potentially lose everything
Scottie Currie Eri does need to control her quirk, if she knows how to activate it but not control it then what’s the point of using it in moments like these? And she’s just a child. Otherwise Shiggy doesn’t need to lose his quirk to learn to be a true villain, maybe afo and all might dying would be what deku and shiggy need but any of them losing their quirks wouldn’t be necessary

All Might vs All For One
Meh, a hero doesn't need to smile all the time. Just because All Might did it, doesn't mean everyone else has to as well. But I get that's part of the theme in this show.

I feel bad for momo, you can see it in her eyes, she is devastated she is full of doubt, everything hinges on her plans but gigant was too much, seeing the destruction momo thought can be sum up by what mineta said, momo realized that the journey of a hero is sometimes filled with unheroic decisions, I think that is what I think is going through their mind, the only way to stop him is by unheroic actions. I still think the drug might still work and shika has to retreat.They should have used camy's quirk on a large scale.
While people have often been saying they don't want us to get anymore Sports Festivals because they'd be too same-y, this chapter has really demonstrated...half the reason I think we should get one for year 2.
Everyone's saying Deku's now the strongest in class 1-A, that now Bakugou's the Vegeta and he'll never catch up; but a Sports festival could be the chance to really prove that. Probably Bakugou's last chance to really fight Deku on a playing field where he'll even have a chance of winning too. Not to mention a chance at showing rapid improvement from all the other kids as they'll now be motivated to grow stronger at a faster rate then ever. It'd be awesome.
As for the other half of why I want it, well; the initial plan was for Tomura to wake up and begin the attack sometime in early May. Now, can anyone remember what happened in early-may of last year (in-universe) that involved hundreds, if not thousands of heroes gathering in one place; an event which also just so happened to involve the protagonists?
I've long theorized that wasn't a coincidence; and if the PLF escapes and the plan gets back on track (which it probably will), I wonder if they might wait until the originally planned date to make use of that?

@Abraham Garcia Probably, but I don't think the HC are that interested in safe, logical choices right now. If they were, they probably wouldn't have pulled heroes from all over the country, and also lots of hero students, onto one super dangerous operation liable to get out of hand.
But you know what they would be interested in? Looking strong and reliable in the face of adversity. And you know what would really hurt that? Cancelling big events, especially the one Mic compared to the Olympics in popularity. So I expect they might insist.
Besides, if they know Shiggy's main target, then they could possibly lay a trap. And it's likely the HC would be pretty desperate at that point, so anything that sounds like an actual plan would be very appealing.

This would provide a short time skip where Deku and shikiraki are out of action and the role players can get a quick power boost!!!!
Also Deku in coma world could learn more about the other OFA users!

What she means is that Shigaraki is clearly burning himself out. For Shigaraki, he needs to defeat the heroes in order to win - he can then reign in his power and let his body recover. But they DON'T need to defeat him; all they need to do is keep alive long enough that Shigaraki's own power will defeat him for them.
Seraphina Aizen If shigaraki is burning himself out, shouldn’t Deku be doing the same? That’s the thing about shonen and well super hero movies and shows that has always bothered me. The hero is always better no matter what. They have more stamina, conviction, brains etc... Wish they made a shonen that felt more “realistic” because in real life heroes don’t always win.
@@jr4chargers That WAS the case for Deku for the first several story arcs, though. By this point, Deku's earned his power; he's worked hard to master it and we've seen him learn and grow. What we're seeing now is him getting the benefits of all the hard work he's put in over the years to learn to control his abilities.
Shigaraki is a mirror of Deku; much like Deku did originally, he's taken a short cut to gain enormous power and his body can't cope with it. And, just like Deku did, he's throwing himself into a fight before he's properly prepared and its ripping his body apart.
If anything, this is the exact opposite of the situation Deku's normally in. Ordinarily, he's FAR more powerful than whoever he's fighting. He just can't fight at his best without crippling himself, so he's never able to use his power to its fullest.
But Deku's entire character arc has been about carefully cultivating and controlling his power so that, one day, he'll be able to use it properly. Now he can. But Shigaraki isn't going to learn the same lesson that Deku did; he thinks he's all powerful, and he's not going to restrain himself. And that's probably going to be how he's defeated.
Now because he's "better" than Deku (quite the opposite, by the looks of things), but because Deku knew and understood just how limited he is.

The thing to remember about gigantomacia(i know I spelt that wrong) is, he is a human, he has a human father and mother, he isint a god or some apocalyptic force, he’s a human, who with the right genetic code allowed him to become what he is, but strip away his layers of power, and you are left with no more than a human

I got plus ultra goosebumps cause I read the chapter while listening to "All might with U. A. students". Shimura's quirk starts to manifest as deku faces her grandson. The symbolism is too much. I can only imagine how epic this will be animated.

I have a theory that shigaraki will take one for all, and when all hope seems lost Deku will breathe fire and defeat him with his own dads quirk. Like all the training and use if quirks brought out one all his own.

What if Shigaraki finally manages to touch Deku in the climax, using Decay one him, but as his skin blows away, it just shows Deku in that energy form from Heroes Rising.

I just need to see more Re-Destro, hoping he does more in the arc. He needs to join the others with Shigaraki. Trumpet has also been under utilized so far, his quirk can help boost the army, seeing as this is a do or die situation. I know he was trapped underground, but Gigantomachia breaking a hole now allows him and the rest of the army to join the battle. Most of the hero's heavy hitters also got KOed by Gigantomachia, so the other heroes at the mansion should fall without their support. I'm going to be shocked if the heroes win this, or get out of this without anymore casualties. Gigantomachia literally and figuratively carried the villains on his back.
Even if the heroes win, the citizens won’t be able to accept this! A hero is supposed to protect citizens including their homes and cities, the citizens are going to be furious that they let the destruction get this bad! Of course we see what is going on behind the scenes and how OP Shiggy and Machia are. But if I were to be a citizen I wouldn’t support heroes anymore

Ok so the logical next step is to let the villains who caused all the damage and destruction to go around freely doing whatever they like? More likely it would put in more restrictions for Heroes and make them more militant to protect against villains of this caliber
I feel like if OFA could be taken, AFO would’ve already taken it. It’s unlikely that he’s never had the opportunity to, and instead of just killing the users, he could’ve taken the quirk and disposed of it (ex. give it to someone who couldn’t control it and kill them instead). OFA seems to be sentient and likely wouldn’t allow itself to be stolen. It’s said that the power can only be passed down willingly and that might double as a protection for quirks similar to AFO (the two quirks came from the same bloodline.
If Shigaraki’s transformation allowed him to bypass that, he still hasn’t completed his modifications. It’s possible that he hasn’t reached a stage where he can actually succeed in stealing OFA.
I agree here and have found no basis for the video creator's snipe and sass about people believing this being anime only fans. There is also the theory that quirks given and mutated by AFO can't be reacquired. Not a lick of evidence on that one, but who knows. I find it an interesting point in the series that has intentionally been left as a blank. Especially given how eerily similar the quirks are in nature. AFO takes quirks and molds them into a user, letting them dole them out or use them as willed. OFA is passed down willingly and keeps ahold of a previous owners quirks. I find that fascinating and speculate it's a possible reason why it can't be taken, but can acknowledge its JUST speculation. We have no evidence one way or another beyond All Might's quirk surviving this long. And that may say more about All For One's mentality over the ability to steal it.
Fact is simply that this quirk seems to have some sort of plot armor beyond its inherent and immediately observable ability. Theft prevention might be one. But there are no facts to support or deny this.
