I know it is on sale at the moment, and there is a student version which you can use for fun, but you can publish your games

You don't have to be an actual student to use it, it's like a version people can use to learn playmaker but as you don't purchase it you can't publish games and maybe it has a a few less actions, but it's made for people who want to learn playmaker and it's free to use

It is expensive but I think it is worth it, you can check for sales which might happen, or search online and see if you can find the student version, but you can publish your games using the student version
