As a rider I'd recommend some things to do ALWAYS:
- Drive carefully.
- Respect speed limits.
- Keep safety distances.
- Ensure other drivers can see you.
- Never forget you are the weak.
- Avoid idiots as much as possible.
You have to keep in mind that for most young sport bike, Grom, Ruckus, dual sport riders they are always without fault no matter how bad they ride or refuse to obey any traffic laws..lol

Look guys, all I wanna say is that in some states, Lane Filtering is legal and I totally support it; what I don't get is why do you have to act like Rossi and filter traffic at 50 mph when the cars are a dead stop just waiting to change lanes. You can sue the errant driver all you want, but how will he give back your body if God-forbid, he crashes into you...

Have seen too many bikers going home on the freeway doing 80kmh in rush hour, always thinking it takes only one individual to not look when changing lanes.
Have even filtered myself and been hit by a lady in a car, indicating at last second, zero time for me to react, luckily was only doing 40kmh so worst I got was scrapes and scratches, bike was totalled. I learned after the crash that the helmet I had was shagged but because it was a $800 helmet it literally saved me from having any kind of head trauma or brain damage. Talked to my bike instructor a week later and he reckoned if I had had a cheap helmet I probably wouldn't be alive right now.
lazy0nara It amazes me that some people simply don't watch out for motorcyclists, I always make it a point to watch for them, not follow too closely, not pull out in front of, etc. I've always respected bikers, and I've always loved riding. Too many drivers just simply don't pay attention, whether they are on their phone or just don't respect their vehicle and don't think about how dangerous driving really is for absent minded people. I'm glad that you had invested in such a high quality helmet. Some things you just have to get the best of, no matter the cost. The cost of the helmet is nothing compared to the cost of your life. I hope you don't have to experience something like that ever again. I can't imagine how that felt, not only physically but mentally as well.

I usually stand in defense of bikers in these clips because most of the situations featured are the fault of the person on 4 wheels, and that specific clip you highlighted is no exception. However, i also agree that in that instance the biker was stupid for knowing something was gonna happen and then carrying on as if nothing was gonna happen. One careless mistake on his part in that instance would've resulted in a 50/50 fault insurance claim for both people because situations like that are the fault of everyone involved.

My father rode motorcycles for years and has a nice collection of them. He had to hang up his bike operators license due to health. But these new-age bikers are just morons. Most of them are doing stuff that is ILLEGAL and trying to depict motorists as the criminals. Everything from bike operators that are driving down the white lines, or bikers getting po'd that someone pulled out infront of them. You would have NEVER seen someone coming that fast through traffic on a bike. Let alone a bike operator flying down the road, too fast and blaming someone for pulling out infront of him. If anything this video should be submitted for further review. NO, not every moment posted here is a biker being a moron, but there are quite a few, where you are trying to depict bikers as the innocent.

90% chance the car driver checked his mirror just before the biker came into sight from behind the line of cars. This is why we don't zip around stopped traffic. People cannot see every angle at all times, so, slow it down a beat. Run on the assumption that you have not been seen.

sorry to say this but uuhhmm i dont think the other clips here isnt the cars mistake.
1. you dont need to go fast especially on a motor bike.
2. when you see a car that turns first on a intersection or a turn around, dont honk, they got there first not the motorists.
3. dont shout or get angry so fast, i know its scary in roads but if the car is too far from you then thats not their fault you should slow down and give way.
and to car owners, pls do use your side mirrors and give way and respect all motorcycle riders and do not use you cellphone even at red light.
Lets respect each and every motorists in this world,ets spread love and be kind to one another.

Biker logic: Wheelies in large gangs, fine. Going 3 times the speed limit, fine. Harassing people and swerving in and out to show your disapproval of drivers, fine. Having a phone at a red light, cardinal sin. Pulling out into traffic, impeding the biker's "right" to go 3 times the speed limit, cardinal sin.
You fuckheads swerve back and forth going multiples over the speed limit, change lanes, split lanes, whip around drivers, damage their cars when you're butthurt. And then when a car makes a turn at a legal speed, or changes lanes at a legal speed, basically doing what you do, but safely, you flip you shit. You think you have the run of the road and all the cars need to just stay in their lane and not move while you swerve around them dangerously and act like authorities.

Some of these don't make sense at all. Most of these rages and what not seem pretty understandable, but then other seem to be just people overreacting and holding grudges for no reason. And the third one? The person cut you off, fine, but just smashing their mirror and running of with your tail between your legs (as happens 98% of the time) is not adult behaviour. That's not mature nor tough, that's just childish. And it looked like the guy literally tried to slow down to talk to the biker. Who knows, maybe he wanted to apologise or something, shit happens. The majority of these mirror smashing clips seem to be stupid.
Ok, I'm probably going to get abused here but when you're lane splitting and the speed differential with the cars is high (more than 10mph?)then you have to share some f the blame when a car changes lane in front of you. I always look before lane changing but i don't look for bikes 4 or 5 or more cars behind me.

I honest to god as a car driver have a lot of sympathy for motorcyclists for having to deal with masses of car drivers who many of them are complete crybabies who have the audacity to complain about "slow drivers" and then pull the kind of shit that could cost a motorcyclist his life
Also, I am not defending any reckless behavior from a fraction of bikers here, including mirror smashing but we have to remember, they are in a more volatile position than us car drivers that could be life or death
I wish I was recording. Been riding less than a month and some mom in a Honda Oddessy tries to run me off the road and run me over. Was on a Ninja 250r and still smoked her ass. Simply cause I asked her not to follow so close.

I ride a motorcycle,,have been doing so for years now. It is embarrassing to see how some bikers behave... immature... people that never grew up! We do not have own the road more than any other vehicle. Yes, some drivers are bad and dangerous, but very often bikers are to blame. Grow up!! :)
Ok, so these bikers get pissed when other drivers pass them or maybe accidentally pull out in front of them. However, it’s ok for them to drive in between cars as they sit still. All it takes is one open door or something. Bikers doing that crap is what gives bikers a bad name. I NEVER ride like that.
Do you bikers understand that when traffic is backed up on a highway.Alll the people in cars and trucks do not exspect a biker to be going in between cars.i guess you call it lane splitting.Legal or not legal.it is very hard to really see a bike going between cars faster then the cars and trucks are moving.Slow down and don't lane split and you would be safer..Stop raging at other drivers,get a life...
Motorcyclist in Cali are just obnoxious, because your weaving in and out of traffic at higher speeds, cars are just supposed to see you within the time frame they have of switching lanes get o at yourselves and don't put yourself in harm's way

I don't get how going in between lanes is fair? Motorcycles should have to act exactly like cars for their safety. How are cars supposed to know that you're gonna go between then 50 miles an hour next to them. One second they want to merge left and the next second you're there. I'm sorry but I don't get it
At 8:20 that was the drivers fault and I'm not defending him. But as a biker myself, I always ride in the center of the road to avoid exactly what just happened then. Because when driving at the side like that, you are infact, in his blind spot. Still his fault though.
There should be a speed motorcyclist are allowed to travel at and then have a speed 20km/h lower for the other motor vehicles using the road because everything is a danger to motorcyclists. Why? Because drivers, not riders, are idiots.
