> Currently the driver supports basic Vulkan functionality This is a huge understatement. While it's not there yet in terms of performance, the driver supports full Vulkan 1.4 and all extra functionality required by DXVK. Additionally it supports most of the functionality required by vkd3d-Proton (the d3d12 translation layer) and they are working on the missing ones. And all that work on GPU drivers is being done by 2 people for the most part (Asahi Lina for the kernel driver and Alyssa for the user space Vulkan & OpenGL drivers). That's far from basic, it supports way more Vulkan functionality than almost all Android drivers despite the fact that those are developed by the manufacturer of the GPU and the fact that Vulkan is the primary graphics API on Android.
Great video! A follow-up on how to 'uninstall Asahi Linux' and merge partitioned volumes back into a single volume on Mac could be really helpful. I uninstalled Asahi Linux last week, and figuring out how to combine my drives into one volume wasn’t exactly straightforward.
I know that many people don't like AI's voice, as do I, but I'm not a native English speaker, so I don't think my pronunciation and mistakes will be better than AI's voice. I'm thinking about how it can be improved.
@@Vladimir_Prog i understand, i am also not a non-native english speaker, judging from your name, you have a ruskiy accent? well i use my voic in my videos without a microphone (just my laptop) and no fancy ai noice cancellation, i still get people watching me. So what matters is your emotion being put into it. An AI Voice is not fun to keep watching because it feel like repeated or continuously stable, the people enjoy english with mistakes or instabilities. Good day
@@Vladimir_Progjust sharing my opinion for what it’s worth - I’d much rather hear someone’s real voice even if you’re not a native speaker. As long as you sound excited and passionate, that’ll help others feel the same way and build a more legit connection to your channel and work!
Just chiming in-I don’t mind the AI voiceover, but if a more natural-sounding option is available, that’d be ideal. If you’re using it because you’re self-conscious about your voice (which you absolutely shouldn’t be), I totally get it-I feel the same way about my own content. But if it’s more about worrying that people might misunderstand you, that’s not an issue at all. I checked out your older videos where you use your voice, and you’re perfectly clear. Honestly, your English is better than mine, and I’m a native speaker!

Agreed. A good step by step guide would be invaluable
Sounds good. Maybe Mac gaming will one day become as easy as it is on Windows and consoles. We'll see!

@@Vladimir_Prog Agreed, use your voice, add subtitles if necessary!

Just hoping to catch the early - I’m sure you mean “2025” instead of “2015”.
